Im on #32 and has been a moderate day .Phone has been off charger for 24.5 hrs. and im at 25% battery left .Stock battery

How do you get that kind of battery life... I am using a 1750 battery and get maybe 15 to 20 hrs max. out of my battery. like what kind of settings do you use.. seriously whats up? what are you secrets, don't hold out

i feel these people dont abuse programs and use there phone alot. i have a 3500mah and i took my battery from 100% to 21% in 6 hours. so i dont know. ive never had any luck with any battery nor any kernel, alls the same for me. but when i purchased the 3500 i still have my stock battery. so i do use both somedays. but, i can stick my stock battery in and not use my phone at all and usre enough get 30+ hours out of it. but wheres the fun in that when u dont even get to use your device...

anyone got a clue to why the "playon" app is out of sync.. no one anserwed my Q yet. two pages back now.... does any one USE playon?

Maybe we are the only two that got battery eating monster phones I have never used or heard of playon... sorry dude...

Check out playon you can watch everything via 3g or wifi. Best thing is that it supports Netflix. That's where it gets all my use its well worth it. They have plugins too to add any channels you want. So its legit. You can also watch it through your TV with a 360 ps3 or wii, very convenient. 14 day free trial then you gotta pay monthly 4.99 yearly 40 first time 20 each year after if u still want it. Or one time payment 80.
I use it every night in bed lol. I hate small screens but this isn't bad while passing out.

I am not on phone for hour(s) long stretches at a time ha . Though the week I am on avg. 10 minutes(sometimes more) out of every hour would be a good guess ,
Mostly web browsing, tapatalk. I do get about 50 sms , 30-40 emails though the day , breaking news stuff to.
I use gps everyday sometimes 20 minutes sometimes an hour(google tracks,trapster) . I am not talking on the phone that much , ha

Sooo to sum it up I am not constantly on as pic will show but I really never worry or think of battery life becaus I have a spare battery with IF needed I use the phone at will as far as that goes.
I have the 2.6.37.3 incredikernel(3-13-2011) with the stock volts set (245min-998max)other then that it just the normal screen brightness(1/3 up, auto brightness off), settting timing out(screen turning off, 1 minute) if I dont manually turn screen off, turn gps off when not using, turn wifi's off if I know there isnt a wifi I can use,so no real secrets on what I do.

I always use phone some Never just carried as a paper weight , no use to carry it IF not going to use it

Oh, I can run my battery out quick (8 hours) if I'm not careful. I'm usually on the phone 10-15 minutes of every hour, Gmail, Exchange for work, Facebook and Seesmic are my mostly used apps. When I'm at my desk at work I'm usually streaming with the Sirius/XM app, and when I'm lost I fire up navigation. Two days ago, even with very minimal use, the VZW 2.2 would have me frantically looking for a charter after about 7-8 hours.

Yeah I dont usually play any radio apps over mine(Sirius/XM ,pandora,etc) , although some youtubes vids I do ,depending on the day. I just use portable radio one thats in room at work.

Litteraly... we could be using the same phone... I use my phone pretty much exactly like you do (maybe even less with the gps) I do text alot (bout same as u, and talk about the same as u. Only difference Is i am using the .4 kernel, I was using the .3 kernel for a long time and have noticed no difference at all. my smartass settings are at 128-883 and I always use wifi when possible and keep gps OFF all the time unless needed ....

I don't know why, but I switched back to chads .3 kernel... In my own mind I think it will make a difference but who knows only time will tell. I just can't imagine getting the kind of battery life that you are getting, and I even use a bigger battery

I also have another question for you about how you use your phone. Do you Use any widgets and if so what kind? I do use a couple of widgets, do they take up battery power in the background?

My setup is pretty simple Home screen is the only screen(so just one screen for me) . I have Beautiful Widgets "honeyclock" superclock,weatherbug elite for weather,the weather is set to update every hour. Circle launcher has my gps apps as second screen shows when I open that launcher.
LauncherPro Plus with custom text icons. My wifi,gps ,off/on is on my pulldown notification bar as you probably saw a few post back , I added that pic here as well

I wonder if the fact that you use only one home screen makes a difference, I only use 3 ... here they are. the center screenshot it the homescreen

ALSO.... Just to try and see what happens, I got rid of the far right screen... I will see if that makes a difference

Yeah I couldnt say for sure but post back if it does since your trying . Also I just read RC4 is out now. I havent downloaded yet tho.

I loaded back to RC3 this morning just long enough to run a logcat for my BT issue and submit it. Then rolled back to 27 so I could use the phone today, and now there's supposed to be a fix for the BT in RC4!... Flashing!

Been running and messing with RC4 for about 45 mins. No appreciable change but then I wouldn't expect any groundbreaking changes from here out. Pretty sure I read on CM website that its all pretty much refining since RC2 until they dub it "stable". Still running well, high speed/low drag.

Well RC4 fixed my BT problems. I got connected after a full wipe and hard reset of the BlueAnt. Yeaaaa I can drive again without worrying about getting a ticket!
