yes, but it relocates me after about a minute to the correct spot... not sure why it's doing that but at least it works... I use NAV alot for my job.../ontopic
Anyone on #36, or any other nightly for that matter, having problems with GPS positioning you about 30 yards South of your actual location? It started for me yesterday afternoon after the Japan aftershock. I've cleared cache and all the usual stuff. Just curious if it's happening to anyone else before I do a wipe.
nice pic...lol... as far as smoothness goes.. I don't know cuz i use ADW EX for my settings and they are always smooth as silk (plus you can choose like 9 different ways to transition screens and a ton of other goodies)... the only noticeable diffs in 37 I found were some added 'Notification Power Widgets' under Interface > CyanogenMod SettingsI'm still here El Guapo!!!
Flashed #37 a little while ago. Maybe just my imagination but seems like #36 was a tad smoother on the transitions and scrolling through home screens. Also, every flipping time I flash a new nightly I've got to go back and reflash the MIUI camera which means reflashing CWM 2.5, arrrgghh!!
Just a minor annoyance really.
I cant comment on the MIUI camera, never used it. what is so special about it?
this may be a dumb question but have you tried to go into settings > Sound.... then see if the box for Silent mode is 'checked' or 'unchecked'... OR the "vibrate" drop down menu... Has anything changed in any of those sections? This isn't for the nightlies but I didn't want to create another thread for this. I am running rc 4 and on vibrate my phone doesn't vibrate. Any ideas?

Have I lost my mind or can I not set a speed dial? The dialer is the only thing I really miss from the Sense based ROMs.
If you find the XDA thread that the original MIUI camera app zip came from and read a little further through it, someone packaged a new zip that is flashable with CWM 3. I used it and everything seems to work fine.

i never used speed dial but damit i sure miss being able to dial contacts by T9 style typing. i freaking hate having to scroll through my contacts everytime. also on call log, with sense, you could just hit an entry and call it. with CM7 it takes like three button presses. i am still thrilled with CM but it is funny how the littlest things can really go a long way to adding convenience to a phone. there is no question that HTC has the absolute best stock experience.
on another note, does the browser included in CM not resixe pages to fit screen when you zoom? on stock sense when i zoomed in on say a forum page, it would reshape the text paragraphs so that the text would be bigger but still within the screen edges so you did not have to scroll left to right. now it does not do that. neither does dolphin.
cronable suggested flashing a new ROM but after the experience below, I want to hold on #32 for a while. Any ideas?
So I tried to go to the latest RC but even after several full wipes, it would get stuck in the boot animation every time I restarted the phone. I tried 4 full wipes, reinstalls, then it boots fine and runs great until I restart. So with that I moved back to a clean install of #32.
Everything is working perfectly except for my bluetooth. It will pair with my Samsung wep475 but never connects. No matter what I try it just won't work. Any suggestions?
From call log I usually just long press and call from there. Saves a couple button presses.
As for the browser text, there is an option under the Interface section of the CyanogenMod settings; 'Reflow after pinch in'. Does the same thing as HTC Browser. Although I personally use Opera Mobile, I think it does the text wrapping better, and scrolling seems smoother on most webpages.
