[ROM][GINGERBREAD] CyanogenMOD 7 Nightly Builds.

I've taken a few test pictures with the nightly 89 camera and wail I don't think it's as good as Vignette or the MIUI camera there has been a definite improvement, or at least it seems like it to me. CM7 has a half way decent camera now! Now al we need is 720p video.
It's a nice feature but it can cause some apps to misbehave and give you alot of force closes. Still it's really nice when it works.
OK So I'm really digging the New Menu and the ability to add new screens easily from the ADW changes. Just select Menu ->Edit and you can delete, screens, pin screens or add screens.

It sounds like they're making some nice improvements to ADW. I have ADW EX so I use a mod that replaces the version of ADW that comes with CM7 with the stock Gingerbread launcher, but I'm glad Team Cyanogenmod is making ADW better.

ADW ex got an awesome refresh about 2 weeks ago. Like the themes preferences updates especially.
ADW EX got the same update and it's awesome. I downloaded a theme to make ADW look like the stock Gingerbread launcher but all I really wanted to use was the dock, not the icons. Now I can do exactly that.

Awesome. I usually go with adw honeycomb theme. i've also been screwing around lately with different docks (bc you can pick all those variant docks within each theme also).
I've been toying with the idea of giving a Honeycomb theme a try. I love that you can use the dock from one theme and the icons from another. It opens up a lot of customization possibilities, and with Android customization is the name of the game.
Honeycomb theme = Awesomesauce.
There should be a new incredikernel coming soon from Chad over at XDA, he's got some pretty great sounding tricks up his sleeve coming soon. He has a few beta releases available over there, but I'll let you guys track them down since they are still beta
Expect an OP update as soon as he finalizes it though!

I've actually been playing with the GB leak and updated sense for the past few days. I really like the UI of Uber Kingdom, but I got sick of using an early beta with the loading loops and programs not working as expected. As of this morning, I am running the GingerSense Remix (sense 2.1), and am liking that. Perhaps the coolest feature is the "Skin" option. Makes it super easy to run a modified honeybread 
I'm sure I'll be back to CM7 before too long, and I have a nandroid of nightly 88 ready and waiting.

Nightly 90 is up. According to the changelog there aren't very many changer from 89, they just did some work on the framework. I got an Android System process force close the first time I booted up nightly 89, and I apparently wasn't the only one.

Well, I'm back to CM7. Sense has some nice stuff, and I may go back in a while, but the battery life is just terrible with gingersense. Under normal to heavy use, I was running my 3500 mAh battery to 20% after a day's use. With CM7, I typically see that level at the end of day 2. There are still a few bugs, too, and I'm on vacation for the weekend, so I went back to the stablest thing I knew!
I guess the CM7 team took a much deserved 3 day break!
I guess so. I'm sure nightly 91 will be worth the wait, though.

So has anyone played with the Status Bar Brightness yet - I use auto brightness so I have not done much with it other than play with it once just to see it.
Also looks like 91 will have a bunch of new Browser Javascript updates to it, Some fixes for the statusbar widget, some lock screen fixes/changes and "copy all" added to the edit context menus,

I use auto brightness too so I haven't played with it yet. And nightly 91 does indeed look to be a great release. It looks like the only thing that would make it better would be 720p video.
