[ROM][JB][WIP] CyanogenMod 10 for LG-P505/506

Unfortunately I get random reboots using the 7/24 p506 build, often when just sitting idle for a second on the main screen (stock launcher problem i assumed). I flashed the jb-gapps and Google Now still FC's trying to open it. Keep up the good work.

It's also faster, and smoother than ICS, with a few minor UI changes. But yes the shiny new toy is Google Now.

OK I'm back

The 7/24 build did mess up the sound, I'm building a new one right now that SHOULD fix the sound

As for those issues you mentioned, thushanth, I'm working on those as well. The camera doesn't work on most CM10 ROMs right now and battery drain is certainly an issue as well. If you want those things I sugest you using the stable ICS ROMs by Arjen found here: http://forums.androidcentral.com/t-...cm9-ics-4-0-4-cyanogenmod-9-android-ics-4-0-4

Random reboots are an issue as well for me. I get them all the time

Google Now is one advantage of Jelly Bean. The others include much smoother and faster, much more responsive, and security issues have been addressed

Depends on how soon I can fix these darned issues for my P506 build
CM team screwed up the entire display system and I'm stuck fixing it to attempt to compile...
If this fix works I'll upload to GitHub and hopefully Oathkeeper can build P505 tonight

If the camera works this build, I'm making an entire family build
P500, P505, and P506
That's IF it works

Well I gave up on editing the screwed up files to make them work so I just reverted the entire repo to July 17
It's only a matter of ~1 hour now

Changes in this ROM:
-Catapult has officially replaced the stock launcher and Trebuchet (it should work)
-Updated HAL so camera SHOULD work
-Fixed button backlit lighting
-Settings, Phone, MMS, Camera, Email, Exchange, Dev Tools, KeyChain, DSP Manager, and Apollo apps have all be updated with various fixes
-Theming engine ported to CM10
-Various fixes here and there
-Repaired audio engine
-Repaired display engine
-Better support for other Jelly Bean stuff

Feel free to commit any thing you see that needs fixing too

Catapult proving hard to fix, I'm gonna revert back to the last stable build I had. Means no settings menu But fixed dimensions
