There may be a bigger audience at XDA, but there are more smartasses and cry babies too. I started out at XDA. The reasons I mentioned above are the reasons I migrated here. Much more professional here, in my opinion Sad thing is, most of the wise acres only have balls when there is a telephone or computer between them and someone else. Go figure... Anyway, I'm staying here.

Was checking out the new 8/8 build and discovered that USB Mass Storage IS WORKING for me on Linux/Ubuntu. Haven't tried on Windows 7 yet.

I am in the same boat as another 505 user. No radio. I am coming from stock rooted firmware, flashed cm10(8/5 build), gapps, And stock kernel with fix. Help me out here

Radio is disabled in the builds because it won't boot if it is enabled

So, since I have a Phoenix that has never had the baseband upgraded, should I flash the p506 build since it has the compatible kernel with it?

Actually the kernel is the same just with the old baseband patch included with the build for P506. I have a Thrive but you are right I believe.

I just installed CM10 on my p505, everything works great but the headphone jack and iheartradio doesn't put out any audio

I installed this package; Screen lock does not show up, stock browser does not launch, headphone controls don't work, hardware buttons don't work as they should, notifications might not be working properly (have the p505) Will try to install again otherwise going back to ICS.:'(

Hey guys... I'm looking for help but feeling that the xda-dev thread is a little intimidating. Can anybody put in plain english how I get link2sd mounting to work in the Aug 25th build? Depending what I do, I get either ext2/ext3 not supported error, or when using a fat32 formatted second partition, "mount script cannot be created. Mount:invalid argument".

I was hoping fto find a patch to flash in CWM, but nothing

I was able to get lnk2sd working find on older versions from this thread! Thanks in advance for helping out this noob!

I cleared all the cache, formated the phone and reinstalled the jelly bean package cm10; works fine, just have a bug were i delete apps in the internal storage but doesn't make a difference to the phone
