No, it is a modified ParanoidAndroid build.prop.

Also, 3G works after replacing Phone.apk and TelephonyProvider.apk with the ones in Kraven's CM9. I'll post a screenshot on my profile sometime soon.

3G should work from replacing the build.prop

Replacing those 2 files, I wouldn't recommend because Paranoid made it for there rom with all the DPI's.

Been using it like that since I posted the "fix", the build.prop itself did not fix the problem. The signal indicator stayed grayed out with a X in it until I replaced TelephonyProvider and Phone.apk. Even tested it afterwards and com.android.phone no longer force closes, the DPI seems the same as it did before replacing it.

Also, I didn't originally port the ROM, but logcat was asking for a com.android.GSMPhone which would not work on our phone since it requests access to a SIM Card that we don't have.

On another note: I sent the OP a PM asking if I could learn his steps to porting this ROM in case he abandoned it. I'm very happy with it and would love to continue it in my spare time.

I wish I understood how this roms graphics engine worked compared to other roms by looking at the log cats I'm guessing it loads more drivers?? And one isn't loading properly?

And resolutions of 278x266 to 918x647 and not even 480x320 witch is native? But I just replace build.prop

OK I'm back still same as reported above however my keyboard sound FX seem clearer

Anyway maybe make 2 builds one that tackles GSM/cdma issue and one that is strictly wifi removing 3g data focusing on stability/ compatibility allowing for a cleaner smaller build

they skipped it because honeycombs source was never released.


ics is better anyways. it's basically honeycomb and gingerbread combined.
