Re: [RoM] YOUR-MOM-ROM - with POWER CONTROLS ! ! !

I have tried to reinstall several times but it seems like it doesn't take. It works the first time only. I am not sure how to get it to fix itself.

Re: [RoM] YOUR-MOM-ROM - with POWER CONTROLS ! ! !

Ok this is really weird, I have MOM installed and the only way I seem to be able to boot into recovery is if I use the MOM rom shortcut for Recovery reboot. Buttons from power down and reboot recovery from adb skip the recovery mode. At least something works so that I dont have to reinstall each time.

 but :D

PS MOM looks great :D

The first thing I notice is your missing a button for the manual method. Menu, volume down, and power. Try those. Secondly, with zvh it is known that reboot recovery from adb and quickboot don't always work. Very frustrating to say the least.

Glad you like our work. She is smooth isn't she?

Re: [RoM] YOUR-MOM-ROM - with POWER CONTROLS ! ! !

okay so, if i run the ZVH update.zip, update to ZVH radio, then root, reinstall xionia, then i can flash this right?

do I need to have stock recovery to flash zvh?

Re: [RoM] YOUR-MOM-ROM - with POWER CONTROLS ! ! !

There is a thread specifically for your question. Look for how to update to zvh in the forum and you will find more on that topic.

Re: [RoM] YOUR-MOM-ROM - with POWER CONTROLS ! ! !

got it thanks. all installed, runs great. only question, do i need to flash gapps separately?

EDIT: nvm.....i need to get in better touch with your mom.....

Re: [RoM] YOUR-MOM-ROM - with POWER CONTROLS ! ! !

i just flashed it. this thing is as smooth as butter. the only bug i have to report so far, is that every other reboot i lose the status bar. not sure why.

Can't wait to see this updated! Played with it for a little bit, very nice. :)

Re: [RoM] YOUR-MOM-ROM - with POWER CONTROLS ! ! !

No, it's Your Mom ROM 0.7. Go to the gROM thread if you want gROM.

In settings - about it says Build number YourMomRom-v1.0 not 0.7. Previous install of yourmom said gROM1.1.5. That is why I asked but never mind, I've deleted it and will never try it again due to your tude.

Yes it does say your mom v1.0 in settings and that is my mistake. I put that there a little early. Now as far as your claim that it said grom 1.1.5. You must not have wiped completely clean before flashing your mom because this is the only version that has been released.

Re: [RoM] YOUR-MOM-ROM - with POWER CONTROLS ! ! !

Going to try your mom out after work tomorrow. Running Drew's CM7 atm (which I am happy with) but feel compelled to try this. That being said, wipe/flash to stock ZVH -> Flash your mom or could I just wipe/flash and not worry about going back.

Either way, it's happening. :D

Yes I love it. The Quick boot seems to work fine for recovery mode, adb does not. I will retry manual but I didnt seem to be able to get it to work either.

Re: [RoM] YOUR-MOM-ROM - with POWER CONTROLS ! ! !

Had it running for 12 hours now, no problems.
I have flashed Drew's latest kernel, and, I too have experienced the SD Card just disappearing. Its not a huge deal, all you have to do is remount it, just wanted to report the bug.

Does the ROM go through the normal "zvh maintenance" after upgrading from ZVD? i have noticed it is a little laggy at times, but 99% of the time it is as fast or faster then kravens or drews cm7 port. again, excellent job to those involved with developing.
