I gotta say this ROM does a great job of making the confirmed horrible ZVH update a little more tolerable.
unfortunately, I had to revert to ReBorn on ZVD because I could not take the touch screen issues. IT was messing up a lot of games and apps for me, and I just couldn't take it.

It's sad that this seems to be entirely a software problem and Sprint is not hurrying up and fixing it. A slider or something for touchscreen sensitivity woulda probably fix it.

When Sprint releases a stable update like ZVD was, I look forward to this ROM supporting it and using it again, because it was awesome performance, battery life, and speed.

I already have an sdext partition. Is formatting sdext in recovery same as using the four lines of commands in adb shell on first page?

I removed it from the Rom, but it will be available with v1.0 which will be released within a day or two.

Ok so iv partitioned my sdcard so many time that iv went from 8g to 4g how do I get it back to 8g?

I think i may have found a bug in the program....

When tethered to the computer, if you touch any button on the phone it disconnects from the computer for a split second requiring you to start your coding from the adb shell window over again.

What do you mean by tethering? Are you using USB tethering?

I'm going to assume you're not, but either way I haven't been able to reproduce that issue. I'd be willing to bet you have a screwy USB cable/port.

The boot animation is default, I think you're referring to the boot splash which is baked in to the boot.img. Modifying it is a non-trivial task.

I have an updated hosts file for adblocking that I've been modifying more and more. Since hosts is now included in the ROM, I figured I'd share a little.

To replace hosts file via PC (otherwise just use Root File Explorer)

1) Plug phone into computer, make sure Debugging mode is enabled
2) Unzip hosts to a directory
3) Go to a command prompt and type: 
    adb shell 
    su
    mount -o rw,remount -t yaffs2 /dev/block/mtdblock3 /system
    exit
    exit
    adb push <PATH TO>\hosts /system/etc/

Scrabble Free is the game I use as my litmus for ad blocking, since it seems to just be loaded with them.

Is there a way to get rid of the android boot animimation an put the your mom rom one in its place or is there a way to just add my own? I tryed looking for it in system/media but nothing. Thank

Just flashed the MOM ROM and it is very very nice.
Great job.

Couple of things though, I'm unable to update Superuser or Youtube ... I get an "Error" pop up window that states it can't be downloaded due to an error. Once the phone boots up a Google Talk authentication failed error pops up as well.

I'm going to restore to previous ROM and flash MOM ROM again and update this post.

I might have messed something up when logging in to Google services or something.

The first one after the LG screen is embedded into the boot.img. That one is not so easy to get to. The second one (flashing "android") can be covered up with a custom one. Here are some you can flash: http://forums.androidcentral.com/lg...s-optimus-s-froyo-theme_team.html#post1155450

Make sure you are wiping everything very good before flashing. From recovery, go "mounts and storage" and then format boot, system, data, and cache. Then flash the rom again.

Does the ROM, come with or support the sprint vvm?
