Yeah it should improve, hopefully. Mine did for sure after settling in and maybe a bit of the newness wearing off. I did turn off some of the gestures that I'll never use. Not sure if they use juice but I did so anyway.
If you're gonna post battery usage screenshots can't you use the built in battery usage feature like everyone else?

I don't like it. It's ugly and not visual enough (I love graphs). Sorry just being honest. No offense manDoes it really matter? I don't use it because it doesn't show me the details I like, if you don't like it don't look.
I don't know what is going on for some of you, I have never had a phone come close to this on battery life (g1, nexus S, s3, note 2, g3, g4, note 7, pixel). I accidentally forgot to plug it in one night and actually got through the second day. I'm super impressed so far.
Screen and CPU would make a difference. Both of which inferior on the Pixel 2.I guess I'm doing something wrong. I'm getting maybe the same, maybe a little worse battery life than my Pixel 2xl. 16 hrs 41 min on battery at 35% with 4 hr 25 min SOT. That is a little less then what I get on my Pixel 2XL doing the same thing. I use it mostly for listening to podcast, texting, checking email and some other websites. I don't take a lot of pics and don't watch a lot of videos, I think I'm an average user.
Yes, but because a company has a lot of leeway with how they word things for marketing, I didn't expect all day as advertisers said, but do see a significant increase from my note 8 and even so plusMy note 9 literally loses battery at the same rate as my iphone x did. I usually take the phone off the charger at 6 a.m. Around 12, the battery is down to the 70s. I work from 8 to 11 so no access to the phone at that point. When I do use the phone, I am checking emails, Instagram, FB, and listening to a podcast on soundcloud. Is anyone else seeing their battery life not last "all day"?
You have a rogue app. You need to review the battery usage area and see what app is eating it up. Mine out lasts my iPhone x by a ton.My note 9 literally loses battery at the same rate as my iphone x did. The way it should be. What good is spending $1K on a phone and handcuffing its performance.phone is in high performance mode. phone calls were in video. no power saving and I've been driving around everywhere so the service strength is inconsistent
I was considering it but decided to not because apple isn't going to change much other than make it bigger from the X. Samsung evolves much more than apple and they have my business from this point forward. Is anyone coming from an iPhone or waiting for the iphone X plus before deciding to keep the Note 9?
