Yup, mine said the same thing. Wasn't sure if it was because I'm not the primary account holder (my line isn't eligible for an upgrade so I logged in as the primary account holder, which isn't me, and bought the One for a phone that was eligible on the same plan). Since the name of the primary account holder, the name of the eligible phone number and the name of the phone purchaser were all different, I thought maybe it raised some red flags in their system.

Was told yesterday by chat rep on Sprints website I could pre-order off contract since I'm not due for upgrade. Why am I not surprised that was misinformation, as it appears they are limiting pre-orders to new customers/new lines or eligible upgrades. Oh well....hope there's not a shortage on 4/19.

Funny, I was told the opposite by sprint chat reps yesterday but was able to order off contract this morning. I've seen posts by a few others who successfully ordered off contract this morning as well.

I placed my order off contact too, also with no issues.

It is $99 for new customers, but you have to buy a top shelf plan. I wanted the family plan for my wife and me with unlimited data and text but not unlimited minutes which was $130/month. With the One it says you can only use it with the everything unlimited plan which is $190/month so I would end up paying more in the end.

I got it too, probably because of the demand and they're waiting on getting them from HTC.
I'd be great to get it a day or too before the 19th.

Preordered right when the page went live and just received the same email this morning about the delays in processing.

Has Sprint ever been late on a promised preorder date? I won't be in town after the 19th so was hoping to get it by then.

Here's hoping!

As a side note, I was hoping to get a screen protector in addition to the phone, but I didn't see any protectors on the sprint website. Do they carry these in store a few days before launch, or will we have to wait until the 19th to get one? I was really just looking for something cheap until Martin Fields starts selling their One screen protector.
