Sprint ONE April 19th

When I ordered on Friday, the person I spoke to at executive services made it sound like I could get the phone this week. I mentioned the release date is the 19th and he said they were trying to get the phones out sooner due to the late release. FWIW. I'll believe it when it's in my hands. Tough thing was that he charged me shipping and activation which I have never paid before.

I was charged $12 for shipping as well through Sprint telesales. After reading that others on here were not charged shipping, I complained using chat on the Sprint website & got it reversed. Someone earlier in this thread told me that the $12 was either for 2-day or overnight shipping. The telesales rep didn't explain that to me when I was charged or I probably wouldn't have disputed it... I assumed it had something to do with ordering by phone vs online & I couldn't order online because the website had crashed.

It would be really cool if the phone came out this week. I was told that it would come on or more likely before the 19th, but a whole week ahead would be great!! Still, after all the delays, etc., I am just happy to have a date to look forward to & if it comes sooner it will just be a bonus.

Ordered mine yesterday through Sprint for $99.99 + 10.31 tax free shipping, no activation fee :)

The day before release day is usually the most likely.

Still watching for the black one to come in stock. I hope it is before launch.

I guess so, I just switched over to Sprint at end of March. Couldn't get the One so i got a Samsung in the mean time. Took it back under the 14 day grace period and ordered the HTC. I was expecting to pay 199, was thrilled to see it at 99 Down side is no phone till it arrives, so i got a 14.00 pay as you go phone

Be careful with this and make sure you know what you're getting into. The order is actually fulfilled by a company called Simplexity. Chances are that there's some terms and conditions tied to this that aren't tied to a purchase from Sprint, BB or RS.

Specifically this: Discount will be invalid if the rate plan is changed to a lower monthly service rate, or if this equipment is transferred to another line of service.

If there's one thing I learned from working Sprint corporate, it's that the risk of working with a 3rd party isn't worth the discount to me.
