greggles did a video on youtube today on it and in the comments section people have just called tmobile and tmobile said it was an error today; the text messages about the orders shipping and such. Sept 13th still the expected shipping date.

I don't know who Greggles is but if it was an error then it was a 2 day error because the text message for me came yesterday. T-Mobile would never admit that they are shipping early until they actually do.

Why should Note 7 owners get theirs before anyone else? I was a previous note 7 owner too but I didn't order through Samsung either. I don't think I should have certain privileges because I was a note 7 owner. I would say half of the people ordering are.

Samsung has a history of pissing people off with later deliveries than some carriers. I got my S8+ from Tmobile before I got the S8 I ordered from samsung.com. Until Samsung changes 3rd party distributors for their samsung.com orders, they will continue to **** people off.

I just got a email confirming my lease agreement and my payment is going to be $41.34 a month and it also says on this confirmation that the device has been shipped.

Has anyone else got this email yet? Not I yet

That is true when it comes to shipping the actual phone, but not releasing the phones super early. I ordered the S8 Plus from Samsung and got it on time. Tmobile shipping them a week earlier really has nothing to do if the third party distributor ships them early. Samsung has to tell them to ship them at a certain date. The distributor Samsung uses just can't start shipping them now unless they get the go ahead.

What I'm saying is if Samsung tells the carriers they can start shipping and selling the device, why can't Samsung tell their distributor to release the samsung.com orders then? The distributor Samsung uses also gets the phones ahead of time. They have them at least a week before. Just like with the S8 they prepped the shipments and then they were held.

If Samsung tells the carriers to release them there is no reason they can't tell their distributor to ship them once they get the supply in. That is just giving people who ordered from Samsung.com the big middle finger, plus that hurts them because people will order from the carrier instead of buying directly from Samsung. Doesn't make business sense to me.

Still, the $425 trade in value is worth waiting a few extra days over. No way I'd cancel my order. That is a lot of money, plus you get the 360 camera with the phone instead of having to file the rebate and possibly the supply running out. With the VR headset I really didn't give a crap but the camera is worth more and would be more useful for me.
