Well we do have a 14 day window to return..... If I were Samsung I would have launched it 14 days before the apple event.

The event is the 12th.
Does apple do a shorter preorder time period? If they have them in people's hand by the 20th (if preorders come in the 6th) or even the 30th, then Samsung may have a problem.

Wow..just checked my email and i got scheduled delivery date for Friday 9/01..its coming...

No it's 2 weeks I think but if you watch the event and like what you see people might return the note.

Over the last few years it's been 9-17 days between announcement and launch. Lots of speculation that only the 7S will be available in September as the 8 might be delayed because of OLED panel shortages. We will see I guess.

I don't understand these types of people. If you're not sure, don't pre-order in the first place. If you flip flop back and forth between Android and iOS, why rush?
I just don't get people choosing an OS based on the phone. Maybe, it's just me.

Have you noticed on delivery day every vehicle that passes your house sounds like the delivery truck, and you just can't quite relax without jumping up and checking

I agree. I don't think Samsung wants a lot of cancelled orders. Plus having them in people's hands will up the hype.

Then I would think they need to ship them out today in order for everyone to get it by Tuesday. If we don't see movement today then it won't be Tuesday either because Monday is a holiday so one day ships need to move today for Sat. Delivery and for 2-3 day delivery to get them by Tuesday.... Does that make sense? If I don't see anything change today I'm not looking for it to make it before mid week if then.

Haha... Well, Sprint probably just has A LOT fewer customers than T-Mobile, so fewer pre-orders, so fewer pages in the thread

Actually if you chose next day delivery, it could still come Tuesday. UPS doesn't deliver on Monday but there are still people working at the Hub and flights all across the country.

What phone are you using? S8+ you can edit and block stuff out. Here's mine. I'm checking it pretty much every few minutes now lol.
