I need 2 Note8s (wife and I). I currently use the S8+. Wife still using Note5. I have 2 Note5s that are paid for. If the camera is "the" freebie option then I am not pre-ordering. Might just do the JOD option for 1 and take advantage of the $425 trade-in offer at Sammy for the other unit. Did everything but pull the trigger and my total cost at Sammy for 1 unit is $505. $1010 for 2.

Also just got this text. If my experience with the S8+ back in April is any indication, I'm expecting to receive my Note 8 on the 13th. Alas, I realize this is far from guaranteed.
Got the same text, no charges. If I remember correctly the note 7 was charged almost a week later

Can't wait to have my phone LOL I hope they will ship sometime this weekend.

Yeah they did the same thing with the Note 7. Sent out those text messages and then everybody was waiting for shipping numbers. I believe it took about a week before the shipping numbers went out. Another few days before they actually shipped.

if there's anybody like me who's trying to avoid a down payment for the new Note 8 I just came back from a local T-Mobile retail store and they told me to sign up for a program called sync up which is basically plug-in like all state that you put into your car it's an additional $12 a month and with that it's basically like opening up a new line and you could actually order the Galaxy Note 8 down on the new Jump program. You will still have to make continuing payments on your original device but it's a program that you could keep on for a couple months and cancel at anytime
