Yeah, that's how it was for my S8. I got the packaging text and all but I waited for over a week til it shipped.

Yes but with that device they did ship them when they generated IMEI number

Just went to Tmobile.com and now it says shipped and I can track but I'm sure it's gonna say Ready for pick up for awhile before it starts moving but even if I get it late next week or next weekend I'm a happy camper only time will tell now

just got off the phone with a T-Mobile sales rep I was calling for another issue but I did ask concerning the Galaxy Note 8 and they told me order should start getting shipped tomorrow and then in customers hands on or by labor day

I'll join the fun. Mine also says shipped Next Day Air Saver and label created. It's showing in MyUPS now but no estimated delivery date.

This is exactly how the Note 7 pre-order went. Labels created, emails and texts sent, the forums buzzing only for the buzzing to turn into b*tching after 4 or 5 days of no status changes lol.

If that's the case then us who ordered from Samsung.com, or who are on the other carriers should be royally ticked! Especially the Note 7 owners which Samsung boast about getting the phones before everyone else, advertising being shipped out on the 11th.

I don't care about the blah about Samsung using a distributor, I'm talking about why would Samsung not ship them until the 11th but allow carriers to do so?

You shouldn't have order from Samsung, there's a lot of people here including myself who went through at least two Galaxy Note 7's.

You can't once you sign the EIP only thing you could do is cancel the order and make a new one

Dont mean to say i told you so , but those of you who paid 27 for overnight shipping, does it also say 3 day select for the shipping type? I paid for standard and got 3 day select.

Where did you hear that note 7 owners would get theirs before anybody else? Do you know that there are a lot of Note 7 owners who did not order from Samsung? It would be impossible for them to sort out who were Note 7 owners and who weren't and then decide that they would get theirs shipped to them before anybody else.

Nope we got our lease agreement with IMEI number and in billing it shows up now on my JOD lease summery

I got a guy who works for t mobile.... So it's easy to just walk in at open on the 15th...and get 2 set(me and wife) and JoD from my S8plus. Plus.. He always throws in cases or whatnot for free. And... I don't have to wait for ups guy as I did last year to wait. Incase anyone decides to steal ups packages.

Who cares who gets them 1st as long as we receive a quality product without issues!
I never saw or read previous N7 owners 1st or that would of been a pre pre release by Samsung

Samsung.com when you place your order and complete it it says ships on the 11th.
