T-Mobile Pre-Order Thread!

So here is what it's happening. I had a chat with the TMo customer care & they said they don't see anyone ordering the phone for 89$ down or less for Note 10+ 256 GB (I think they didn't know what others doing on T Mobile Customer service), so i also chatted with T Mobile on Twitter & that person told me that she cannot see a deal of 89$ being popped up in my account. So she basically mentioned all these are being calculated in the system based on some criteria/logic defined (basically Credit Score, How long been with T Mobile, How many lines you have & on what plan, Payment history ... etc). So all these factored in to get a lower down on the JOD upgrades. I'm with T Mo for 5+ years and got JOD since 2017 i believe and my account is in good shape. I have only 1 Phone line & 1 Tablet line, so all these factored in i paid $199.99 as down for the JOD upgrade for Note 10+ 256GB.

But the representative couldn't really say why my account didn't have the zero down or 89$ down for the mobile, she also didn't say how i can figure out what is lagging in my account.

I liked the leaked/promo images of the Glow, but after seeing more pics and vids of it I was worried about it having too much of a mirrored finish. I went with the Blue, and the more I see of the Glow the happier I am with my decision.

I figured I would try the glow and maybe get a naked skin from Slick wraps to tone it down a little

Actually the Glow looks better in person compared to the images or videos. So just in case you haven't got a chance to see the device in person, i would advise you to check it out. But yes it's more of a mirrored finish but still looks great.

May i know how many years you have been JOD customer & also how many years you have been with T Mobile? Looks like these also being factored in order to evaluate the down payment.
JOD for probably 2.5 years. TMo customer for about 4. I have 6 lines with them and I usually JOD about every 6 months (I have jod on 1 line)

Got it, thanks jackal24 :) As you have 6 lines with T Mobile & you are also more than 3 year old customer, that's why you got the lesser down.

I preordered the Aura Glow Note 10 plus and had to put $149.99 down plus tax using jod. Aura Glow looks so good i cant wait to get it! The only thing that sucks that i have to pay $39.59 per month more to my bill wish there was a way to get that down :(

The more they make you pay down, the less the monthly payment is... but I'd rather have a smaller down payment and a slightly higher monthly payment because I jump to a new phone every 6 months anyway so my total money spent before jumping is less if the down payment is lower.

Likewise. It's a strange way to think, since I think most of us try to minimize recurring monthly costs. And I'm the kind of guy who always pays the credit card bill in full. But if you jump every six months (I do that too), you want your monthly payments to be as high as possible since the twelve months of payments that you DON'T make when you jump are all money saved.

I wonder if a lot of people left T-Mobile. This is the most quiet forum out of them all. This usually helps pass the time but its been so quiet.

Could be. I'm also curious how many people just passed on the Note 10+. I'm excited about it and think it's a decent improvement. But it's not as groundbreaking as the S10 was, and Samsung Unpacked this summer just wasn't as interesting as back in March.

I dunno, maybe I'm just projecting my disappointment at the lack of a Galaxy Watch 2. No Actives for me!

Yea I would like to retire my gear S3, but I don't feel that mst is making a comeback and I use it on my watch all the time.
