The simple things your Nexus 6P just can't do right? or at all?

1) I recently purchased RHA T20 earbuds. On the pricy side but well worth it IMO. I also use PowerAmp.

2) It would definitely be nice to have multi window functionality ... hopefully this is an area Google is focusing heavily on.

5) I bought mine from Google, but I've heard Huawei customer service is atrocious. It was well known that the 6p would be expensive and difficult to repair, so I can't sympathize with anybody that didn't purchase insurance.

Nexus Protect is priced fairly, and IMO it's well worth it for the piece of mind alone. And compared to Asurion it's actually cheap.

RHA make some great headphones, I have the MA750i & MA600i and can personally vouch for their incredible after sales care.

Huawei customer service is appalling (read does not exist in the UK) unfortunately there is no option to purchase Nexus Protect here, at least there wasn't the last time I checked. Thankfully (& this is the only time I'll say this) I got mine through a carrier so it's there problem if it goes wrong.

I cant play any of the cartoon Wars or cartoon war related games

I admit to never having heard of or played Cartoon Wars (not really into playing games on my phone...) but I checked the Play Store and the first thing I note is a substantial amount of negative feedback. The second thing I note is that it is supposedly compatible the the Nexus 6P.

So, what exactly is the problem? I'm not complaining; just wondering.

I wish the home screen would rotate to landscape mode like the Nexus 6 and iPhone 6/6s Plus does.

It does. Google now launcher supports it and has for a couple of months.

Got to Google now > Settings > Allow rotation (bottom of the list)

Not too sure if laser auto focus works as intended or as fast... I m not too convinced..

It does not. That option exists only in beta versions of the Google app.

This is the current Google Now released version (5.7.14.19.arm64). As you can see, there is no rotation option listed:

-camera randomly fails to quick launch
-apps randomly crash upon start

It is unlikely that this is a fault of the 6P or of Marshmallow. You almost certainly have one or more buggy/incompatible apps which are responsible.

Please tap About on the Google Now settings menu and see what version you are running.

Also, in system, Settings, Apps, Google Now app, what version does it say? Mine says "1.3 large".

Ambient display is so random its worthless. I just click the power button if I want to see notifications. I do miss Moto display.
And here I was sure if I mentioned this, I'd get 713 people who said "Works perfectly for me!"

Maybe in a future update they'll change that setting to a more appropriate name, like "Wake display briefly and randomly just to use battery."

BTW: Don't bother replying "Works perfectly for me!" Too easy.

I don't think it works for many people of any properly. Since I have Android Wear, it's not a feature that's important to me. But I certainly understand the frustration.

Been reading with interest, i am due a new phone in April, so would you guys recommend a Nexus 6P or try something different, i am currently using a Samsung Note Edge. Cheers

Yep the 6P is generally a great phone,I`ve just come from a S6,although I suppose that most phones have a few glitches here and there the 6P is by far and away the best new phone I`ve had.

Cheers, just gonna see what the S7 brings but prices will no doubt be high, 6P on contract now getting some good deals.
