Has anyone with Froyo on the X noticed how the wallpaper seems jumpy when you are scrolling through home screens?
I don't believe this is the final release candidate. Too many small bugs left. What are your thoughts?

You now have a limit on the messages per text conversation. default is 200 max is 1000. I assume it auto deletes? Ill let you know when I know
I just rooted my phone today with one touch rooting. Im stoked! I only wanted it for wireless tethering and for drocap2. Will i be able to recieve the OTA update when it comes?

Just came a cross a problem with Flash while playing a game on Kongregate. The game froze up and all the hard buttons would not work. Ended up having to do a battery pull.

what app are you using to watch it or from what site bcause nfl mobile blows right now in preseason???
ATK does not work, which i'm aware is because of froyo itself, but does anyone know any ATK-like task killers that work on 2.2???

No, the entire point is to do away with them (really, there's little reason to use one in 2.1). The OS does a better job of managing memory, and if you close things that you think aren't being used but are actually sharing threads with the OS you're just slowing the whole thing down (especially with JiT). Stop watching your memory and be happy, even on 2.1 it hasn't impacted performance AT ALL.
I had my DX 2.1 one touch rooted and able to use the cache cleaner and root explorer. I found out about the manual rooting that had to be done before installing 2.2 after I install the 2.2. I thought, "what the heck", and ran the one touch rooting app and I found out I can still use the cache cleaner, but I can't run the root explorer.

OK, I see. Because I heard that it didn't work and was wondering what you did to make it work.
But never mind I guess, since you don't have su access.
It looks like it works, but for me if I use ATK to kill say the browser after the "kill" I open the browser and it's still on the same page I left it at. Which sucks.

Yeah, I had over 2k from changing around the build.prop file. That's most likely what they did also. It does cause other problems though.
