Like it matters at this point but just got off the phone with BB @ fiesta mall in Mesa,AZ and they said the 28th too. the funny part about it is even if it doesnt come out on the 28th, March the 3rd is that Thursday anyway lol. either way im preorder and good to go.

the reason they are such a laughing stock is their failure to quell this situation. it could be done with a few keystrokes. it really is ludicrous. i know some people will never understand or think it is extreme, but if i had another option where i live (remote area, where VZW has a lock) i would be gone, no joke. gone. any company that doesnt have the common courtesy or intelligence to reach out to a mob of angry customers and just tell them something in a timely manner is not worthy of my money. even if it was, hey BB ****ed up, we never gave them a date. they should not have taken your money. or we ****ed up, we would like to apologize to BB for any damage we may have caused them. the tbolt, our first 4g phone is experiencing last minute bugs that our engineers are working fervently on to make sure when you finally get to ride the lightning it isnt just a spark.

Just FYI... I used to follow Miami1683 on both DroidForums.net and Twitter... that guy is CLUELESS! Please disregard everything that you hear about the TBolt from that guy or you will be driven insane. I started listening to his crap around early November and from then until now he has gotten NOTHING right about the Thunderbolt. He throws things against the wall in hopes of something sticking. 0 credibility.

Thanks, I had no idea what he was trying to say. I thought maybe "Poem give expected" was some kind of secret code or something, since it didn't appear to be a coherent sentence.

LOL, yea it didn't make sense unless you knew exactly what in the world he was talking about

Unrelated: I too am thinking this is gonna be a March release. A handful of sporadic Best Buys are saying the 28th still, but if that were true we would be able to expect a nationwide consensus from most, if not all, Best Buys that this was the case. And we just don't have that...

We know the TB was slated for a March release because that's what VZW officially said at CES. But the early release of the Atrix forced their hand to drop the TB eariler. So now they are scrambling every week to have it ready early, but things keep getting in their way. And they say internally "well, maybe it will be ready next week" so they keep scrambling but then they miss their internal dates again

And this process will continue until it's ready - but they don't exactly know when that will be yet (could be a day, could be 3 weeks - they don't know). And that's why they aren't announcing

I would be thrilled with a March 3 release, my birthday. I don't believe the reports of it being released on a Saturday. Verizon releases phones on Thursdays.

Alright, so I was able to find a Pixi Plus on eBay for $60 to hold me over until the Tbolt is released, so I can return the iPhone. The only problem is that there might be a day's gap between the end of the 14 days and when the Pixi gets here. So what would my options be?
