i'm new to this forum, how reliable has "Joe The Insider" been in the past? after seeing all these dates come and go i'm pretty skeptical. but i'm looking for something to get my hopes up. JUST GIMME THE DAMN PHONE!
I have no idea. He's only posted 5 times. Many of us are skeptical due to the high number of lies and stories people come up with. I still can't get past the guy who claimed he bought a TB last week, then when we asked for pics he said he accidentally bought a dummy unit. LMFAO post of the year im my book.
I'm going with September 9th. It'll coincide with regular season football kickoff so ya'll can enjoy the new and improved Verizon NFL app.
if i remember right all he did was talk to a best buy manager and the VZW rep that visits that store, you know those same type of people that some seem to keep thinking are a reliable source and realistically don't know anymore than us
only if you sign a contract if you do not do a new contract and take a phone thats paid in full like a cheap prepaid and just switch it to active phone on your account you do not have to start a new contract same goes with using a buddies old VZ phone thats just sitting in a draw
so many of those guys, however do remember that i read his 1st post and he was claiming a source that was laughable
Well, I just signed with Verizon so I wouldn't have a NE2 anyways. I am still within the 14 day return period, so I can return the phone and cancel the contract with no issue. However, because I would be going month to month, and then re-signing the contract in order to get the Bolt, I'm going to verify with the Verizon rep that it would work and I wouldn't have any problems.

That other guy, yeah. This Joe guy hasn't posted that much, and what he has posted hasn't been out of line or the ordinary.
I'm thinking Joe is full of crap. Sorry Joe. But I don't think we'll see the Bolt in February. We have yet to receive any alerts or updates via email that we all signed up for on Verizon's website. I'm guessing we'll all start getting those alerts at least a week before launch.
If this happens, I'll be extremely happy. That will also prove him as a reliable source. But until then, he is just another in a long line of people claiming to know something.

From my understanding Verizon was suppose to release a phone by the end of summer, and according to the calendar they did, September 21st. Developing a new "anything" can and usually does takes a few awful turns at the very end and schedules get blow out of the water. I have no clue what's happening or why it's delayed, but if it's a problem then Verizon is going to wait till they have a good product OR they will release something less then perfect on March 31st. The last day of the 1st QTR.
Just my 2 cents.
Off to see who else the Samalians have murdered.

it's all just a big marketing ploy people just like lightning! basically everything builds up and gets charged and snap! there it is! A Thunderbolt!!

That is exactly how it would work. make sure they give you the NE2 credit back and revert your contract date back to the old one.
