I have not seen the phone in hand so I will have to do some research..Seems walmart and bestbuy are always the first ones to get stuff...not sure why.

As much as I don't fault Phil for reporting what he heard from his source, shouldn't there be some kind of retraction or update on the Androidcentral.com blog? His announcement that that he "confirmed" the date for the 24th was featured on the blog linking to this thread; isn't it only fair to update your readers when you are wrong or when circumstances change?

If you want to be taken seriously as a source for news and inside information, you should retract your statements when they are wrong with the same force that you post them in the first place.

If he retracts his statement, but the phone comes out tomorrow what will you say then? Phil is probably either looking carefully through the speculations and referring back to his sources for clarification. However Phil could also be ignoring the speculations as they are speculations and just sticking to his guns. This magnitude of information about Thunderbolt not as simple as 2+2 = 4 is a constant but information is variable.

lol..its just paper...the dates are not real..they advertise the phone all over the place but list no real dates anywhere...everything is speculation no real solid evidence...still haven't seen froyo for fascinate and the dates for that constantly change....when the thunderbolt release im sure you will know..feb 24th will come an go just like any other day...
