I'd assume VZW would have at least announced a formal date or had pricing by now. I think that's got to be bogus.

I thought training a couple weeks ago was on the Verizon POS system ("Point of sale" not "Piece of S"). This latest training is referring to training on the device.

Could be wrong...just that is how I read it.

No 4G voice. Eventually though it sounds like it will be VOIP

4G voice will be around by 2013 or so, apparently.

It took me many tries because most of them tell me they have no info.

Funny, this time I was just going to ask for a customer care number due to the previous attempt I got cut off... I thought I would try again and Bingo!

Who knows, some of the others may have actually had no clue when (or what for that matter) it's coming out. I've been shocked how little some of the reps actually know.

I agree I have chatted with both types. Some are obvious, like the dude at the VZW knock off store who was completely dumbfounded by the name "thunderbolt". Then there was one girl on the VZ chat who started out with "We don't have that information" but at the end was nice but clear by saying "That information is not available for sharing right now".

Either way I feel better about by the 14th of Feb. Maybe not but I am more hopeful.

yea i just did a chat, i wont post for lengthy reasons. but i asked about the thunderbolt. she aknowledged it. but used the we dont have info for sharing at the moment an pushed me to sign up for the email notifications. she did ask me what i liked about the device. i basically went tech on it with 2nd gen sd processor, an so on lol. just to see wat she would say. she replied well glad you know what you want, but i wish i could help you but we dont have that info at this time to help you. please check back.

Yes there it is click any of the phone lineups and in the top right corner it should have a button that says shopping assitant, click it and the option to chat pops up
