I decided to do a second chat since my first got me no answers whatsoever, while the second chat almost did the same, I mentioned at the end that I was leaning towards getting a new phone next week and the rep quickly responded that if I really desired a 4G device it was strongly advised that I do not purchase a smartphone next week and wait =)

So, no success on the release or price of the device BUT this guy told me that there would be an UNLIMITED 4G plan for the same 29.99
