lets not forget those of the Verizon customers were able to get the iPhone a few days ago which would leave them out of the ThunderBolt running if the 24th date is the real deal. It wouldn't hurt the ones that jumped ship from AT&T to get it on Verizon only to find out there iPhone is still just as crappy as it was on AT&T just only difference being, you could actually make a call.

The Thunderbolt does have a FFC. It's a 1.3 MP.

I would bet we hear something on Monday and it will be announced from Barcelona. I just want it before the end of the month so I have something to play with while on my business trip to NASAs JPL site in Pasadena. Also get to play with 4G at the airports. Hope you are right Phil. What do you mean Best Buy won't honor your early upgrade? Are you talking about the 20 month upgrade?

Same here. I can't imagine that VZW won't be selling it as well.

Since my local BBM told me that I couldn't get my NE2 credit through them I called VZW last night and was told that since they are a third-party retailer BBM isn't obligated to honor any special promotions that VZW provides. The person I spoke with said that some stores will give customers a credit, others won't.

As long as I can either pre-order through VZW.com or order it on launch day for next day deliver I'll be happy.

I have no problem waiting. Right now, I plan on getting this phone as a late birthday present to myself (my birthday was yesterday ) I just wish the official retail price was released. Some say it's well over 700. I think that would be a bit crazy, considering the Xoom is in that price range and it's a tablet. I'm still thinking this phone will be in the 499 to 599 range. Just my opinion.

haha, I was thinking the same thing. I also won't have to worry about looking like a fool pulling that monster out in the middle of the Chris Botti concert on Monday night. No way I could resist that kind of temptation. So, no distractions means I can focus on my lady

Well I just spoke to the mobile manager at BB. He said most likely I will need to pay full price for the phone if it comes out on the 24th since thats 8 days past my 30 day limit. He said he would try but, doesnt think its going to work. :-(
