I'm not mad, I'm disgusted, frustrated with my Storm1 and impatient. All these rumors and the fact that they think the freaking iPhone is sooooo special that they delay other phones for it is ridiculous. I said it before and I'll say it again, if you want an iPhone you'll buy an iPhone whether the Thunderbolt is available or not. If you don't want an iPhone you won't buy it. Their (lack of) logic absolutely baffles the living daylights out of me. The fact that Apple has such little faith in their phone that they're afraid people will buy it and then exchange it for a Thunderbolt is really pathetic.
Who is upset? No one is upset or freaking out. Again, it's product enthusiasm.
I think the point is, you haven't contributed anything to the Thunderbolt conversation besides what I've already pointed out. It gets tiring to see the same ol' "no release date, chill out, blah blah blah" that comes with all your posts.

It seems to me its pretty simple logic VZW never announced the TB because they want how well the yPhone sells, they knew it would be a hot comodity whether we like it or not, they dont wanna flood the stores with people.

The VZW LTE page is down and only showing limited script. Is an update coming?????????hmmmmmm.......
I just walked into my local VZW store and asked about the TB. I asked about the 24th and he said thats the rumor he has from the forums. Then I asked if VZW will have it in stock and available the day it is released and his response was that all VZW Corporate stores will have it available and that there will be an opening just like the *phone release. Nothing new but he did smile and look around when asked about the 24th.
also now that i think about it, the date is pushed back from what? amazon said valentines day so did bet buy. But Best Buy didnt put anything in the sales paper. Verizon still says coming soon......its so ignorant on there part. i still do see any iphone buzz since verizon has launched it. Big Red is slowly screwing up

I don't think there's any "slowly" about it. I'm normally a pretty patient person but I was very close to my limit before I decided to go Android. Waiting for the Thunderbolt has pushed my limit of patience to the max and then some. Both phones could be basking in the glory right now of those who want them and VZW, Apple and HTC could be raking in the bucks in addition to making how many thousands of people very happy?
your right, my patience is thinning as well, but what would be funny and i highly doubt it would happen. if everyone purposely boycotted this phone and show verizon this is what hapeens when you screw with the consumer
I wish I had that kind of dedication, but I already sold my Alias 2 and this Fascinate is temporary. I'd have to sit that one out. :-\
I am able to see the LTE page and commind soon for Tbolt.

+1, I can see the full page with nothing changed from the last month and a half that I've been periodically looking at it.
Trust me, I'm as fed up with my Storm as you are, but in all actuality the longer the Thunderbolt takes to come out, the more time I have to weigh my options and make the best decision.
I have been eligible to upgrade since October and I specifically waited until at least CES was over to see if there were phones worth waiting for and there clearly were. Now at the time I was all about the Bionic and it's the only phone I would even think about getting.
Then I went into a local Verizon store and it just so happened that an acquaintance was working at this specific store (which I had no clue) and he mentioned some things about the Thunderbolt that I really didn't know about. So then I started doing some research and I was still leaning Bionic because I figured the issue with the Thunderbolt outperforming the Bionic could have simply been because the Bionic software wasn't fully optimized yet.
Then I started reading some of the stuff here and some people have given some good sound arguments as to why they are going with the Thunderbolt which has now made me a little more indecisive (which could be bad, but also good). Now of course having the phone actually released will allow me to go check it out and see if it will work for me, but the longer the wait, the more time I have to look at the features that each phone may or may not have and decide what I may or may not need.
i have to admit im glad to know its other people out there who are feeling just like myself, my wife is content with the droid x, so talking to her about this really doesnt help me vent
I knew i was getting a call from BB today...but to claim that the new release day is the 28th is kind of weird....did anyone else get a call back form your local BB about your pre-order?
there was a recent shot showing VZW's info on the HTC merge and right below it, it showed thunderbolt Retail at $615
