Just got off the phone with a local Best Buy and the mobile rep said they just got their shipment and will most likely be releasing tomorrow...Don't flame me, just saying what they told me....Still trying not to get too excited...

If that indeed is true, those of us with preorders should be getting our phone calls from Best Buy today. So far NADA for me!

Bad news

Like most of you, I am gettting very frustrated. I pre ordered this phone 2 weeks ago. The 14th came and went and I still had high hopes for tomorrow. Just called my bb and spoke to.a woman in the wireless department. She said they thought tomorrow but just got word its delayed with no new date due to problems with skype. Now im not sure what to do. Im on att with a fascinate and hate the speeds. I guess I will wait for either the bionic or tb still or perhaps an evo 2 announcement. The atrix seems awesome cept the data speeds will continue to suck. This whole situation sucks.

Keep in mind that Verizon and Best Buy aren't exactly chummy since the whole Droid 2 and Droid Pro disaster last October. It actually makes sense they are still a little sore on both sides and not talking to each other. I for one can't wait to see what Skyraider cooks up for this Beast...

I'm new to all this so I have two questions: 1) what happened with those phones? 2) who is skyraider?

FedEx, UPS, and whoever else Verizon uses to ship their junk have essentially finished their routes for the day on the East Coast. If a Best Buy has the phone in stock right now, we'd be seeing it all over the techblogosphere. Tomorrow is going to be a cold, dark day

Yup. Everyone is getting different info. Stopped by Verizon today and the woman that helped me said she expected it by the end of the month.

Best Buy in Port Charlotte, Florida will not have them for sale tomorrow. She stated delayed again, with no date given.

I just got off the phone the htc ceo. The problems is the left screw that holds down the speaker phone. It causes radiation poisoning in white mice. All units are being recalled and new ones will arrive in the stores on Feb 31st. This is NOT a rumor, it's a confirmed fact, verified by the inter web.

Well I just got back from the local best buy where I pre-ordered it from (Bourbonnais, Illinois) They seem 100% convinced it is coming in tomorrow. He said they are set to get them delivered tomorrow morning/noon from ups and said they would call me as soon as they come in. I told them there are alot of rumors its being delayed until march, both said their rep was in yesterday and confirmed they will have them the 24th. I also had them check to see if they have shipped yet or anything and they could not find anything. I am not remotely getting my hopes up because I'm just about 100% sure the earliest we will get it is the 28th but I found it a little interesting that all 3 were convinced it will be in tomorrow..

Are you sure? Because my secretary took a message for me earlier from him and it stated that "the screw in question was causing radiation in black mice"

I posted a note on his facebook page to verify....

Well, if you really like TB and want to switch to VZW for its superior coverage, then you may just want to wait. I know this wait is agonizing. I am patient in the most other aspects in my life. But when it comes to getting a new phone that I like I revert back to my childhood and find myself in a candy store. I wish Best Buy had not made that announcement earlier this month and had not started taking preorders. That way, this wait would not have been so bad. Getting our hopes high just to have them crushed ...PAINFUL!!!
