phone is gettin scrapped. i got a bad feeling

i no this prolly wont, but come on, nothign but bad news, kinda scaring me of gettin the phone now

Scrapped? Not a chance in hell its scrapped. Do you understand the kind of money that has already been sunk into this? Verizon would sooner release it as a 3G phone than scrap it.

I find that to be very odd, every time I am in there they are always talking to you and keeping up a conversation. But to get quiet and not say a word. To me that almost seems like the end may be near and they didnt want to slip up and drop a date.

Just My Opinion

The manager was standing right there, and when he gave it to her he said 'I don't think this one's supposed to be out yet' and she just chuckled. I don't think it was a bad sign that they got quiet, I just honestly think they're tired of getting questions about it.

I just got home from the Engadget reader meetup here in SF!

I played with a TB!! I wish I hadn't, because the wait just became that much more unbearable. It was literally for 30 seconds, but damn I was like a little kid all over again.

The poor HTC rep got mauled by tons of nerds demanding info of a release date and we just got the usual "Dunno, it's up to Verizon."

And they were literally slapping cameras out of people's hands who were trying to take pics. The whole scene at the HTC kiosk was just comically bizarre.

I am not too sure what vzw's strategy is for not releasing a launch date. Just release an official date and then we will all be at ease. I don't care if the date is april fools day...JUST DO IT!

yes, just announce....I was at our android central Atrix site reading initial reviews....very interestig reading....I would reccomend anyone getting antsy to go read the participant's who have bought the Atrix initial view of the atrix.

Exactly... if there really are battery issues or any other problems with the device, let them get fixed. This phone is starting to scare me... hopefully everything is all good when its released. If I waited this long and there's problems with the phone when I get it...
