Total n00b question: I'm rooted, lag fixed, and de-bloated. I downloaded the update and installation failed. I restored the bloat and it installed fine as the build number and inability to use root apps reflects this, but I keep getting the notice that an update is available. Should that still be happening?

Just did the OTA update and am not noticing the posted improvement on the way the stock email client syncs. Still does not do the interval updates and is still slow like molasses. In comparison Maildroid rocks! I am fully stock.
De-bing is still in effect. I only re-named a few things so no other issues are apparent.

my fascinate arrives tomorrow. sounds llike this update removes the ability to root? can anyone confirm this? if so i will wait to apply this update as I believe i need root to fully de-Bing my phone.

Im having the same issue, except i didnt restore bing and my search is still through google and google voice, including the soft key.
Also, my quadrant scores are still 2100+, but i cant use any root apps. It shows the new software version, so i assume im updated and derooted....but am still getting update spammed...any ideas?

I killed infocare and then checked to see if updates were available. Infocare said that no new updates were available and I haven't seen a notice since. When I get home in 2 hours I'll try adb to see if rage.bin can be applied.

Rooted my phone last week...installed update today...rooted apps stopped working so I re-rooted it. All is well.
I didn't De-bing or uninstall bloatware, so maybe that's why I was successful?

Well I shut down and did a battery pull and my kernel now matches..whew.
