Verizon Galaxy Nexus (Prime) Waiting Room

He did say "jokin" at the end of that too, although I can still see a preorder being done for this too. Who knows what exactly will happen. I am really looking forward to owning my first Nexus device. This is gonna be sweet for sure.

Yes he did. Hopefully a small disclaimer and it is actually going to happen. I think I have watched all the YouTube vids available ay least 5 times a piece lol

Yeah, me too. Lol. I am really excited for the OS. The phone itself will be awesome no doubt but I may be a little more excited for ICS.

That was probably just their decision, not because it's impossible. They'd be missing out on a big opportunity to make some cash if they didn't make one for the Galaxy Nexus. If they don't, fine. They just won't get our money. Others will provide us with quality screen protectors for our money.

For some reason I had it in my head that they said it was because of the curved screen, but I could be wrong. They make their wet application protector for it, but not the ultra crystal. I guess we'll see

Sign up page on Verizon is live, gotta be close

Anyone else holding out hope of Nov 3, as Panda foretold? He rarely is wrong...Unless he spoke of pre-orders in his poem?

He has been hinting at Nov 3rd for the pre-order and Nov 10th as the launch date...and he hasn't backed off either of those two dates yet.

Nov 17 in Europe, huh. A week of "excusivity"?? for real?

edit: US exclusive maybe, but the time frame is so short still, why do it?

The only thing "exclusive" about Verizon is their ability to screw up phone releases.

I'd be willing to bet they didn't mean to include the US in their "elsewhere" description.

Who says it will come the 10th? Also, the exclusivity is supposedly for the US for a certain amount of time. This does not include the rest of the world. This has been repeated countless times.

I still can't beleive that Google would release thier newest OS outside of the country. Absolutely unbelievable. I hope that's not true....

How is this unbelievable? There is more to this planet then our country....

Google is an American company. I can drive to Google HQ in less than 10 minutes from my house, but I can't buy their product before people in the UK can? Odd...that's all. I could understand if it was just a Samsung phone, like the Galaxy S II.

I know that. I just find it odd and depressing that I may not be able to buy a product from a company that's in my own backyard before the rest of the world can. I'm trying to get at a more meta concept about the state of the American economy, etc. I think I just need to relax. No, I know I do. Nothing is worth getting this worked up over. So, never mind my silly ramblings....:p
