Verizon Galaxy Nexus (Prime) Waiting Room

If anything, I would think it suggests the opposite. Why pass on the GSII if you aren't getting something substantially better? (ICS, Nexus...)

This makes me think too.. why would the other carriers get the SGS2 if the Nexus is coming next month.. I wonder if there isn't something to the exclusivity of the Nexus on Verizon, perhaps with different specs to accommodate the faster release and the integration of LTE.

New rumor says, "The Nexus Prime will also be LTE-enabled, but the most interesting part is that it would probably boast a dual-mode GSM/CDMA radio, just like the Apple iPhone 4S."

I was completely fine and even happy wit the rumored specs from BGR earlier today, but if this Tuesday GSM Arena turns out to be the correct party in all these rumors, brix will be shat. I would be in incredible disbelief if all of these specs by GSM Arena panned out. Only thing I can think of is that Google and Samsung were trying to gear up for a true competitor to an "IPhone 5" and this device is what they came up with. I really hope that GSM Arena is right...

All of these rumors are just ridiculous. As crazy as it sounds, BGR's claims seem much more plausible. All these reports are as contradicting as the iPhone 4S/iPhone 5 was. Man I can't wait till Tuesday.

I don't care to make an entire thread for my question, and I don't understand the specifics of chipset technology to be honest outside of the fact that some GPUS and Processors are faster than others. but is there any chance the OMAP 4460 can do Tmobile's 42mbps HSPA+?

I know the 1.2 exynos SoC couldn't do it so they had to use the Qualcomm for their GSII.

When the phone does comes to Tmobile I'd want it to do 42 HSPA+ like what I assume all the new top Tmo phones will have :-\

Is this it? So beautiful...

its clearly not upside down since the camera is on top.

The original was upside down. That bottom part is most likely the same bump that the other Samsung phones such as the GSII have, not a camera. Plus, unless they are stupid(or that thing that looks clearly like a power button actually isn't one) they are not going to put the power button on the bottom left part of the device.

this is what I'm saying, that render shows a phone in a correct position.

It's painful when I have to explain something that should be easy to comprehend by reading. Serial Fordicator argued that the phone is going to be called Droid Charge 2/run touchwiz because Verizon passed on the GS2. That doesn't make sense.
All I meant was vzw passed it up because they felt it couldn't compete with the new iPhone (rumor). No way vanilla will outsell touchwiz to the general public. Devs love it, but the general public prefers ui. This is smelling like the gs2 debate all over again. I kept telling everyone not to get their hopes up because the evidence I kept seeing. I don't trust any release date or specs that are leaked. I remember when the tbolt was rumored to be dual core. Lol

The general public bought the OG Droid. There's practically nothing to back up your claim. The only reason skin's outsell vanilla is because there are hardly any vanilla phones.

Complete nonsense.

Not to mention if it had Touchwiz then there's no way we would be hearing about it Tuesday.
