Verizon Note 7 Recall Thread

If there's one thing that people learn from this recall, I hope it's have a back up phone. People got lucky Samsung provided loaner phones. It's not the carriers or companies problem if you don't have a back up phone.

You are right this is a learning experience because I sold my edge immediately after receiving the note 7..although some are saying those that got the loaner may get priority before those that didn't get involved in the exchange program.

I always keep my previous phone for a few months before I reset it and let go of it.
For starters:
1. If the new phone craps out on me I just put the sim in my old phone and keep on truckin'. caveats being the same carrier and the same size sim.
2. There might be info that I can only get from the old phone by "seeing" it.
3. If Note7 starts sleepin' around town, she's history and I'm goin' back to the old phone. :p

EDIT> and these Note 7 are Hot and Sexy. So gotta be prepared.

I thought that the new note 7 wouldn't be available for sale to new customers til after people that already got the note 7 gets theirs replaced? This is what Verizon's note 7 recall FAQ saysView attachment 239711
 
They better not be selling it until we get our replacements. I'll be at our local store right when they open on the 21st.
 
That's B.S. i was told that everyone who has the N7 account is red flagged. Verizon needs to get their **** together!!!

I know right. From what that guy told me and a lot of people getting different answers, as much as i rather have the phone shipped to me I really feel like I'm better off just waiting for the replacement to hit stores and see what they tell me in person. I refuse to call again before then cause if I get another response like this etc I might just change carriers.

I don't know what's up with verizon smh. I just want to get my replacement in the same color... blue coral😍

Yes me too. Blue is my favorite color and even tho the rose gold ain't my favorite I barely notice it cause of the curved screen and the blue makes up for it lol. And yeah hopefully Verizon will have things straight by the 21st but not holding my breath.

Me too..I will collect my refund right there and then and just go to AT & T or something. Always doing some crappy stuff like they lack common sense!

Yes, Michael, we do have an update! The new Samsung Note 7 will be available on 09/21/16 through all channels. Do you have more questions on this?

Why have all the post "Likes" disappeared? I looked in the record and mine are gone all the way back to 9/6. I like them. They're a nice touch and add a little levity. :p

Gotcha. Guess ill just go into the store first thing Wednesday morning then and do the exchange. Was hoping they could ship say Monday and get it Tuesday lol.

Thanks for posting this. I tried to get on chat several times yesterday and gave up after 30 minutes waiting for a reply. System overload due to N7 and iPhone I suppose. Going to give this number a call in a few. I would so much prefer them to ship it to me as I live way out in the country and the nearest corp store is over an hour away.
