If there's one thing that people learn from this recall, I hope it's have a back up phone. People got lucky Samsung provided loaner phones. It's not the carriers or companies problem if you don't have a back up phone.
You are right this is a learning experience because I sold my edge immediately after receiving the note 7..although some are saying those that got the loaner may get priority before those that didn't get involved in the exchange program.
