Yeah, it was a corporate store. I'll be contacting Verizon tomorrow to get this resolved.
The store I returned mine to charged the 35.00 restocking fee and refunded it on the same transaction which seems silly but whatever.

Call customer service. Restocking fee should have been waived and they will make sure you get credited. This happened to me a "premium" retailer and Verizon called them. I had went back to yhe store and got my moneu back.I returned mine today to the Montgomeryville, PA store. The process was pretty quick and the salesperson was nice, but I was charged $35 for a restocking fee (they said I would be credited on my bill, but I'm not sure I believe them). I didn't bring any accessories back with my phone except for the box, but when I got my new phone, they kept all the accessories from the new Note 7 and said I don't get them :-\. Also asked about the $25 credit and they knew nothing about it and to contact Samsung.
It was a quick 15 minutes in and out, but I'm not really happy about the restocking fee, accessories, or credit. I guess I'll be contacting Verizon to make sure I do get credited the restocking fee and for the $25 credit.
Here's a picture of my recall box.
The wifi connectivity issues still persist on the replacement phone. Using Wifi Fixer to keep it connected. Got my ArmorSuit screen protector on, all the software is set up, and now I'm ready to go. View attachment 240147
How's the screen protector? Is it good?
You got ripped off.... All they need was the phone... They're still using protocol for a regular exchange and not a recall, smh..
I kept everything from the 1st N7 and was able to keep the charger and headphone from the S7edge loaner..

It's all right. A few trial and error runs with similar protectors prepped me for doing it. I also have the Samsung official ones, which I tried on my recalled phone before swapping it. Those are full coverage, but installation (dry installation) is a pain. The squeegee they give you is great though. I used it putting on the Armor Suit. I managed to get it on w/o bubbles or other anomalies because of it. Also, since I didn't need to use my phone, it was OK to apply it, and let time do the rest. The texture of the protector is kind of.... rubbery? I'd use a light touch with the S-Pen, as the Skinomi I used before the recall was similar. Press too hard and you'll see what you wrote in the self-healing material.
Different feeling altogether from the glass protectors I used on my Moto X Pure, where it feels like a "screen atop a screen".
Mine isAnyone notice if you have the edge clock on the battery is green there as well now?
. heck I didn't even get the 2GB bonus data. poor me! but at least I have a great phone that I charged on my headboard last night without fear!
cheers, Clarice
If they do that to me there will be a fight going on. This is a replacement phone, not a new phone. No different then a warranty replacement.Only thing I don't really like is that they changed my upgrade date now (2 year contract price). Went from launch date now to 9/20/18 when I exchanged the phone yesterday. Oh well.
