There's a rumor (based on Wikipedia) that Samsung will have the Gingerbread update issue resolved by Friday (which is tomorrow). If that rumor is true, the Kies Mini may start showing the option for upgrade tomorrow. But then, there's another rumor (based on what someone heard from Samsung customer service via phone) that AT&T is deciding to push it over the air (OTA)... which, I have a hard time believing (if that was true, why would they have made Kies Mini available for the Infuse just a few weeks ago).
Regardless, one thing is absolutely for sure. Gingerbread is coming. The fact that the fiasco last week even happened is proof that Gingerbread is on their checklist for the Infuse.
Now, Ice Cream Sandwich... Haha, nah. Slim chance. As in, reaaaaaaaaally slim chance. Ice Cream Sandwich is designed to run for the buffer phones with at least 1 GB RAM and etc. The Infuse's specs (single core, small RAM) will either make Ice Cream Sandwich not be possible to run, or even if in the slim chance they do decide to put it on it, will most likely run like an awful mess.
