Will AT&T Nexus 6 ever receive Android 6.0 Marshmallow? Update: YES!

Have you tried pulling the sim card and doing a factory reset?
I haven't tried it for 6.0, but it worked for 5.1. I'm on At&t.

I believe AT&T has to start rolling out update for that to work. I too did that for 5.1 and 5.1.1 but believed the AT&T actually started the OTA....

How do FI customers not get it first..? Why not release it for everyone. Now you have people hacking it onto their phones, which likely causes even more support issues! Makes me think its coming out half baked.

..coming from an iphone, this update needs to fix the missing txts issue, missing images in txts issue, and hopefully they make text selection & copy/paste user friendly too. Why can't you copy/paste an entire txt message, image and all? Seems so basic.

If I could get an iphone on Fi, I'd prob go back. Costs more, but def works better so far as I've seen. But, Fi has been really great, and that's harder to give up. SHOW ME THE MARSHMALLOW!

As of 27th, still no update on my Nexus 6 in Canada. Phone was bought unlocked from Rogers and is using Bell SIM. Kids both have Nexus 5 from Rogers and got updates 2 weeks ago. I'm not too concerned about it and can easily side load if I want to, just surprised it is taking so long compared with other Nexus devices.

October 28 and still no update for me...also not having luck with adb sideload of the Ota zip file; phone not found. Will go for factory reset this weekend if still no update. Wish they just pushed out to everyone like Apple.

I'm on Verizon with a Unlocked N6 and no OTA update yet either. I tried to sideload it, it might be easy to some, but as a first timer, somewhat confusing with downloading so many different files.

I think Google really messed up by trying to sell through the carriers since nexus 5 has gotten ota weeks ago.

Best to accept the fact that anyone in a carrier nexus 6 in the US that isn't sprint will never get ota.

Galaxy nexus never got ota upgrades and neither will we. Yet another failed nexus phone to poison a lot of people against the brand.

Technically nexus 6 is supposed to be guaranteed ota update through Android 7.0 but since that would be an even slower rollout than this one I've made peace with the fact that my nexus 6 will never go beyond 5.1.1.

Don't make peace this is just a really slow roll out. They are people on all 4 carriers reporting getting OTA.

I still haven't received an update for my Nexus 6. To top that off, I preordered the Nexus 6P and there is an issue with funds being taken out of my account. Contacted all the banks I am with and can confirm that it is an issue on Google's side that they haven't been able to fix. Going on 7 days now. Smh....

Anybody still left out of the ota update??? I haven't got it yet on my Nexus 6..and it sucks big tym...

What carrier are you using?? I haven't either. I had T-Mobile. Then tried out Fi for a few weeks. Went back to T-Mobile. still waiting
