Lord, bless it. I just got off the phone with a Best Buy rep who tried to tell me that I hadn't received my phone yet and my order wasn't updating because they were not releasing any of the Note 8 phones for shipping until the 15th. I told her that was not accurate as I had already received one three days earlier. She told me that it must have been a glitch and I should not have received it yet. I told her that I knew many others who had already received their phones as well. She then said she needed to transfer me to someone else. That woman answered and I explained my situation and she said she needed to transfer my call to somebody else. Then I was promptly disconnected.
Edited to add: Prior to this call, another rep told me, the color I ordered was not in yet and that was causing the delay. Another told me that my phone needed to be released from Verizon, so I called Verizon. Verizon said everything was fine on their end. Seriously, their reps are all over the place and it is such a frustrating waste of time. I really want that $150 off but at this point, I am starting to feel like the time spent on this has exceeded $150 worth.
