I just noticed: txt messages after daylight savings got a bit screwy for some people, where messages would be stamped an hour earlier and be out of order. Now Ive sent and recieved a few txts and they are showing the correct order and timestamps.

Anyone else?

well i was at it all day with it but because i use qik i need the camera to work so i reverted back till something pops up.I used both flipz and gils and i found that gils is alot faster and smoother even when using the browser.On flipz is lags a little..but they both put out good roms.

Can JIT be enabled on your 2.1a rom? I tried it on Flipz and it wouldnt work.. locked up on boot..

just finished testing out some stuff very nice couldn't get the live wallpaper to work tho if its even able to work.
I like the new features that the app has to offer im making a nandroid backup now and will restore my phone back to gumbo 1.5c full until some of the bugs get worked out.
oh and Google Nav is great..

Alright, tried again by typing the number directly and it went through no problems. Gonna try syncing Google and then sending a txt to a contact.

Good luck. Still sucks if replies won't work for ya though.

They've got MMS sending working on Flipz ROM. Here's a cut and paste:

Receive works because MMS is just a specific type SMS message with a URL to download the MMS message from a MMSC, so it doesn't matter what MMSC is set on the phone for downloading the MMS message, the URL tells the phone where to download it.

Sounds like HTC did something right. Weather is also under the account sync settings now.

Welcome to JIT. Even Cyanogen says not to use it because it randomly locks things up. I'll make a flashable update for it, because everyone wants it, but I won't be including it unless it gets debugged.

i tried every thing but installing an file i found on XDA that was suppose to have all the programs in it for 2.1 live wallpapers but it didn't say if it was compatible with this ROM

I replied to the same number a few times and no problems whatsoever. Edited my original post about the code error too, JIC people dont read too far and read "SMS not working, ur ROM is teh sux0r".

I did too by following smw6181/quietcblongs instructions earlier in the thread. An update zip to fix MMS is on the way.
