Very well could be. Edit the /system/init.d/gumbo.sh script a little tamer. I have it cranked way up lol.

Someone who hasn't fixxed their database, please try pushing the attached file to /system/etc/:

unzip file to SDK/tools/
adb remount
adb push apns-conf.xml /system/etc/

Then delete the DB and reboot

adb shell
cd /data/data/com*telephony/databases
rm telephony.db
reboot

then try sending an MMS

So all I have to do is flash the zip as an update zip in recovery?

Nandroid backup
flash the attached zip
reboot
reboot again
try to send a MMS

If you're gonna try, say something so everyone else doesn't try it. It's fixed via the script, just trying to deliver it correctly.

What it's doing -
the commnads to switch from verizon to sprint (as already posted) are put into a script, that gets called at every boot via the gumbo.sh service.

the initial flashing of the zip file will delete your original telephony.db (in case you did try to use my other xml file and it's hosed). That's why you need to reboot twice, to rebuild it. Better than wiping data

the question is if the gumbo service will correctly call the script, and beezy is gonna find out for us

You might have issues because your network actually uses the extended WiMax code, even though your phone doesn't.

Try enabling Airplane mode, then toggling back.
Then try enabling airplane mode, then rebooting while in airplane mode.

Quick thought - which zip file did you download and flash?

the test21.zip file isn't a complete ROM. I posted it up in case anyone else wanted to work on the Eris dump, but it ended up going faster than i anticipated. I left it for folks who like that geeky stuff

I followed the steps that was posted in XDA for Flips rom for the mms fix on your rom and it work.

Is this what you are trying to zip up?

- adb shell
- cd /data/data/com*telephony/databases
- sqlite3 telephony.db
- update carriers set mmsc='http://mms.sprintpcs.com/?X-MDN=MYPHONE' where name='Production';

Excellent work as always Gbhil. As much as I love my camera, I think I can give it up for a few weeks to use this ROM until the official update comes.

What part of the 757 are you from Philosophy? Chesapeake here.
