Re: Do you get good Service ?

Hahaha I get double that in my room. That is not tolerable. Especially if your running 700mhz.

Lol I getting that or worse in my apartment ....the building uses really thick bricks and etc which blocks most service ....I get zero with t-mobile , 2-7 with Verizon , about the same with AT&T and sprint I never had a smartphone with but used them back in the 2G era and had service

Here's speedtest from an iPhone 5c on AT&T

Re: How much data do you use and pay for each month? I am wondering about mobile data whether you ha

I'm asking this question based out of plain curiosity. How much do you pay per month for your phone bill and how much data do you get. We are paying $110 for two phones in contract with unlimited talk unlimited text and 1 gig of data plus a promotional gift. What are you guys saying. I think a lot of people are paying a whole lot of money on their phone bills. If mine was any more than it is now I'll consider switching or if I used one day that's always consider switching as well. Also do you do any of you know of any current promotions for ways to get one. I made button to cancel on contracts are up to get something more out of the service. Verizon is great and obviously they think they can charge a whole lot of money. I wouldn't stay with them but my part of the phone bill is only $40 for my extra line on a family plan. Sorry for all the spelling and typo errors, I am using the voice dictation as I am too lazy to type this morning. Way to go me. I'm just kidding I am just being lazy this morning. I'm just being lazy. I appreciate any responses. The thing is with them out of money that we are paying other carriers we give the same service for half the price. The one good thing is that when our contract is up a year from now bill will go down $30 that will be a decent price.

More Everything Plan

Two Smartphones + Shared Data 2GB
$40 + $40 - $15 (off contract line credit for one of the phones) + $40 = $105/month before all the little Verizon fees.

Retired so a good percentage of data usage is over home or hotel Wifi connection so 2GB of data is more that enough for our usage pattern.

Re: Do you get good Service ?

Ok ? They still suck at building penetration ....I mean why else would they sell wifi calling so hard otherwise

Because they know that not everyone gets great coverage? At least they're doing something about it, unlike Verizon or ATT. They're still upgrading their network

They could ummm upgrade their network. The 700mhz does help but needs to get it in more markets.

True but you also say that like they can just snap their finger and get it. All of it takes time and money :). Also they're upgrading so not sure what you mean .. Verizon took time as well .. They were just first out so they have the largest.

Either way I get what you get on Verizon in my living room .. Except with T-Mobile. And yes my house is all brick :D.

T-mobile is building their network with the higher frequencies ...while they need the lower ones.

And my apartment isn't like the normal 2x4 bricks but like really thick bricks

I'm sure the engineers at T-Mobile know what they're doing. It isn't as simple as lower frequency = better for building penetration. If it was that easy, I'd be an engineer already :D

AT&T and Verizon couldn't give me a decent signal at my office on Wall St. When I noticed my coworker on T-Mobile had five bars, I switched.

Understandable since they'd have to use more since it has multiple units versus a house ... But I work in a category 5 hurricane proof building which of course has some real thick concrete as well (it's a disaster recovery center for lots of companies.. Servers and such) and I get data there. That's where 95% of my monthly usage comes from haha :P.

Put it this way you could have a category 5 hurricane and a tornado at the same time and my apartment building would still be here .....that's how thick the building materials is lol.

I doubt it's as thick as a certified building. There is a reason they have to get that certificate in order to House disaster recovery stuff.

Well living in New York you don't get hurricanes ...at least category 5 ones but it is as thick :) You can't get quality cellphone reception in my apartment from any carrier . The other 3 I can get 2-3 bars and slow internet

Again I doubt it's as thick. They just don't build a building with that much concrete unless they're trying to proof it..otherwise all buildings are category 5 proof .. But that isn't the case.

Re: Do you get good Service ?

My home is built to withstand a nuclear attack and I get super fast LTE coverage on all carriers.

Couple questions

Does this provider use tmobile towers? Is it the exact same as T Mobile service? What is the pricing and where can I get service? I was going to use this to help test the T Mobile network.
