Re: Drew's CyanogenMod Hacking thread (current build: 07/27/2011)

Definitely not a bug. Its like a tray where you can store app shortcuts. Swipe up to show swipe down to hide. When you are showing the DockBar drag app icons down into it.
If you don't like this feature you can disable it the ADWLauncher settings under UI Settings.

i get it now...only its swipe up to hide and swipe down to show.

Oh can you? I had no idea honestly. I guess I won't disable it then.

Yeah, I totally figured it out accidentally the other day, when messing with styles and themes and stuff, and I liked it better than the normal dock bar, so I use it now, instead. Haha.

I wonder if my phone will explode if I dirty flash over ath3nos' rom. Too tired of modding and installing everything again. Has anybody tried it? :)

Can anybody clarify the settings on the dock? I can't seem to fond the settings under adwlauncher menu. When I swipe up, it disappears. When I swipe down, nothing happens...

If you want to disable the shadowy one completely, it's Settings>ADWLauncher>UISettings and scroll down to "Hidden Dockbar" and where it says "Dockbar, enable/disable the new dockbar for your shortcuts" uncheck the box.

To make it so that you can make it appear/disappear by swiping up, In ADWLauncher settings, go into general behavior and at the bottom choose "Swipe up actions" and choose "Open/Close dockbar", then, you can swipe up to open it, and swipe up again to close it. (Or basically to switch between traditional dock and shadowy dock).

Hope this helped. =)

Re: Drew's CyanogenMod Hacking thread (current build: 07/27/2011)

I don't know if this has happened to anybody else but when I open the Android Market->My Apps
all of my apps that I have restores (as a batch) with Titanium backup are not listed there. There is nothing every time I click on My Apps even though all my apps are already restored and working fine on my phone.

I tried clearing to clearing the Android market's data and cache but still do not find my apps on the android market.

I don't think the market app shows apps installed outside of the market itself.

Re: Drew's CyanogenMod Hacking thread (current build: 07/27/2011)

they were apps installed from the market. For example, I downloaded google maps straight from the android market, then I then had google maps backed up with titanium backup, and restored again. I then went to the android market and could not find the app on the "my apps" list

That's what I meant. You may have installed Google Maps from the market initially but using Titanium Backup reverses that.

I'll elaborate. When you restore an app using Titanium Backup, the system views the app as a non-Market app, even if the app itself is available in the Market. Only when you install an app specifically with the Market app does it show up in My Apps. Same applies with app updates.

This is a fix best acheived by contacting the author of TB, it would require restoring/appending to what I would assume would be a db or xml or some sort of databasesque file.(IE: iPhone store ****)
