I don't think you can order the nexus Protect (if that's the insurance you're referring to) if you didn't get it from the Google Store.

I just checked the order from Huawei, the good news is that "Cancel Order" is no longer next to "View Order". Hopefully this means a shipping email will arrive in my Inbox soon. But guys, a lot of people freaking out over "I placed an order X weeks ago and haven't heard back". I think these people should be concerned when the masses have had their phones for a month and you don't.

Guy on Reddit said he got the order complete email and then the phone arrived next day before any shipping info was sent. Hopefully a bunch of us will get surprises in the next couple of days.

Ordered my 64gb 6P in aluminium today. Estimated delivery 16 -18 Nov.
Can anyone tell me it the deliver/invoice slip show the iemi number of the phone? The reason I ask is it needs to be showning in order to insure it.

I just noticed my status changed to complete. Says on the website it shipped on 10/28 but no tracking info is available. Getting excited.

Edit: Noticed I got an e-mail confirmation as well. No tracking info on that either.

I will be pissed if that happens. Well kind of haha. I waited for these confirmation emails to come in until I ordered my Fi sim. Will be here Wednesday, I guess a few days messing with it a bit won't be a problem.

What? Happy for you but I ordered the same thing on October 20th and it still says processing. I think I will call them and check if something is wrong because the checkout process was a little wonky when I ordered.

If I get insurance, it will be through someone else. I know I can't get nexus protect. But square trade and others will.

At this point though, I am looking at just self insuring.

I was a little late to the party and ordered mine from Huawei direct on 10/25. Mine still says processing and there is no ETA. I expect to receive it some time in 2016 shortly before the next model comes out... meanwhile I am jealously staring at my wife's Nexus 5X.

Ha, I am in the same boat, my wife has her 5x on the nightstand mocking me.

I talked to Huawei customer service (ordered mine on 20th, still processing) and the said sometime in first 2 weeks of November. Gives me time to obsess over cases and tempered glass screen protectors I guess.

I ordered my 64gb graphite model on 10/23 and it still shows processing. I went into Huawei's live chat and they said it is expected to ship late November 20-30. Like everyone else, I'm hoping for sooner!

Hello folks. I ordered a Nexus 6P with 64gb storage in Graphite-color from Huawei's site on 10/22 and they literally billed me the next day on 10/23. I'm looking at my statement now.

I haven't received any other correspondence from Huawei regarding my order. Kind weird.

Anyone else experience this??

I just talked with Huawei rep; they said management has told them that for those who ordered on or before 10/21 ; their shipments are expected to arrive early November. For those who ordered after (for example I ordered on 10/22); their orders will arrive late November.

He also said some credit/debit cards have already been charged before shipment because the charge is to ensure their pre-order spot.

As much as I hate that they did it, actually charging the cards might be a good idea.

I had a pre-order at the Google store for a 32GB Aluminum. Eventually the 64GB alum came in stock at Huawei, so I pre-ordered that as well.

Just got an email last night from Google that my pre-order is on hold, because the auth for the card expired and now they want to charge the card (presumably to actually ship my 32GB model). Huawei may have charged right when you ordered, but it would prevent things like this happening when the phone finally is available.

Just tried to call Huawei to see if I could change my shipping to expedited and while I'm on hold, the call ends. I called back twice. Not sure what's up with that but I will try later. I ordered a 64gb graphite on 10/24. I figured since I'll be waiting a few weeks, that they would have a chance to change the shipping before it goes out the door.

EDIT: Called back and got a rep this time. As others have mentioned, if you ordered after October 21st, you will not receive your phone until the end of November. I may cancel my order and get a different device for now. If I try a few months down the line, maybe they will have more in stock and worked out any kinks in production by then.

I just got a notification from UPS that Huawei has sent me a package with an estimated arrival date of November 2nd. The actual tracking number doesn't yield any info on UPS's website yet.

Got an e-mail from UPS. Looks like November 4th delivery. Also, looks like I can change my location to my work address so I make sure I get it if a signature is required.
