I am going to return mine (Tmobile adapter) due to UI pixelated issue (especially when I am watching netflix) picture quality is perfect on my phone but on a 55" tv its not so good.

what you need is the hd netflix app...that fixes the pixelation issues you see, the issue is your displaying in qhd so things dont look hd

NetFlixONE-HiDef1080p-RedSea-VXXX.apk - [Click for QR Code] (5.64 MB, 5396 views)

the reason was it says hidef 1080p...

I have been looking online for a place to buy an MHL (microusb to HDMI) cable for my soon-to-be-owned Evo 3D. I have not been able to find one. Has anyone found one? Perhaps I am not searching for the correct type of cable? I have been searching for 'MHL cable' and variants. Thanks.

never mind! I tried them all and yet still the same UI pixeled. i tried some youtube HD 1080p videos and still the same not clear. the only 1080p quality i have is the pictures i have on the phone.

Ditto. Bought it from DayDeal.com p/n-EIAUHUNBE FOR $20 . Watched Green Hornet on 55" VIZIO in 2D, played Angry Birds Rio. Used the side HDMI port and a 15 ft cable from Time Warner. Came with step by step instructions for making the connections. Works great, charged the phone fully while the movie was playing.

Got my MHL adapter. Hooked it up to my HTC Desktop dock. It worked for about 5 min. When I went from one HDMI souce back to the one my phone was hooked up to I never got the signal to work again. Any thoughts?

Well, on my Archos 101 tablet(which I assume runs stock froyo), if I were to hit the menu key at the homescreen there was an option to turn on hdmi out.
Maybe there's something in Media Share?(althought I doubt it...)

HTC MHL (HDMI / USB) Adapter

I just received my HTC MHL adapter from Sprint and it works flawlessly. I purchased it from the Sprint store, they did not have it in stock yet but they e-shipped it to my house. They said they will be getting them in soon but until then, you can go in and ask them to order SKU: EVH1303 and have them ship it from their e-ship warehouse.

The answer is anything you want! It fully mirrors your phone, which means you can see everything on your TV that is displayed on your phone's screen. The display quality is excellent and what makes this even better is you can take the adapter with you to a friend's house and voila, instant entertainment! I initially thought I would play with it here and there and be done with it but I use it all the time.

I know, that would be awesome and right up my alley. Of course, it would be even better if I had a car with a touch screen! . Unlike my phones, I keep my cars until they fall apart so it looks like the best I can do right now is use a dock.
