Note 10+ N975U carrier universal and unlocked models firmware.

So to use this Sprint update on my Att phone, I just flash all the tar files as usual, use the home csc and skip the user data?
Correct, home csc is to save data so it won't factory reset . Then if Att rolls out a different build just flash with that , same home csc so no factory reset and then can get on att update schedule.

So I'm on this one in the picture. Do I need to flash this new one ? View attachment 319240

if your wanting to go to AT&T firmware then it's gonna wipe your data since AT&T firmware builds don't ever come with HOME_CSC, me personally i will stay with N975USQU3CTC9 cause they are basically April Patch with OneUI 2.1, so not really a difference, and since i upgrade with Odin with the firmwares that have HOME_CSC. I will wait for May patch and odin with the ones that have HOME_CSC that way i don't have to worry about data wipe.

Ok gotcha now Ruben

remember AT&T they like to threw there own Firmware that doesn't come with HOME_CSC for Odin, so all firmwares are universal even AT&T own one, but the other firmwares that come out with HOME_CSC and different build firmware number , but all same month patch, only way i flash to the AT&T ones is if i was to trade in my AT&T phone or if i was to sell it to someone then i would flash back to the AT&T firmware.

Hopefully this makes sense what i am talking about.

I'm LOSTED..lol

I'm LOSTED..lol

Ok i know this can get confused , i'll explain here's ans example Verizon throws out a April Patch Firmware Number is Different , T-Mobile Throws out a April Patch Firmware Number is Different From Verizon, Sprint Throws Out a April Patch Firmware Number Is different AT&T throws a April Patch Firmware Number is different , But by using it on any carrier if your carrier didnt release that different number your Carrier phone wont get OTA, Even tho they are basically the same just different build number, But they can all be flashed on any carrier phone since they are Universal builds, So once you decide to either (A) Sell your Phone (B) Tradein your phone (C) give your phone to a family or a friend member Then you would flash the Firmware that goes with that Carrier that did a OTA , that way they get OTA, Still confused lol :D:D:D

EDIT: ONLY AT&T ODIN FILES DOESN'T COME WITH HOME_CSC, The rest of the carriers Build thrown by them come with HOME_CSC which is why AT&T Ones WIPE YOUR DATA, And the rest won't wipe your data using HOME_CSC.

Almost forgot sometimes All Carriers will OTA One of the same firmwares Number but that can happen Randomly.

I understand what happened , she flashed another carrier 2.1 , then when Att rolled out theirs the build is different number
So she just needs to flash next Att update to stay on its schedule

Right But if i was her i stay on the one shes on , i did the same thing i am not going to odin to AT&T ONE cause i am going to end up using May patch which ever one comes first for every month , Cause May patch will come out before AT&T OTA there new firmware
