The network outages on vzw are strange. Iirc, There was on prior to the bolt, one prior to the charge, and one prior to the rezound.
My Razr messed up today in Tampa, Florida about 3pm and I wasn't even able to get online or anything. My fellow coworkers who both had iphones snickered at me the whole time because they had no problems at all.......ones with AT&T and the other with Verizon. Around 6pm I was able to get online again but I still don't have 4G. I still don't care though....put the GN for sale and fix the damn problem.
Right, and 9/11 was an inside job that was cooked up by the second gunman on the grassy knoll and the alien that crashed at Roswell.
4G still out for me in Tampa. I was in Gainesville earlier today and it was out there too. While I have been just getting 1x, now I am starting to see 3G pop-up more often. I would not be surprised if this outage is what caused this delay.
People saying that they don't live in a 4G area and want Verizon to release the phone so they can use it on 3G: when 4G goes out on an LTE device, 3G is usually out too.

b/c verizon would purposely risk tarnishing their rep for their entire LTE network for some smoke/mirror action regarding 1 devices floundering launch. please
They'll DO ANYTHING to delay the GN just for a little longer! You don't know this by now?

I agree, that is a big stretch...
Regardless, it is really fishy that Bell Canada is releasing an LTE Nexus tomorrow (12/8/11)... Sounds like either it is the network causing the delay, or Verizon really hates this phone.

Most vzw customers have never heard of the nexus or the "rumored" launch date. I doubt that is the reason for the network outage, but it is strange, it happens around a phone launch.
Unless, of course, the delay is purely based on the current LTE outage and it's fixed by tomorrow so the 12/9 launch is given a green light once more... But I'm not going to waste time speculating. If I stop by on Friday and can get it, then fantastic. If not, I'll wait another week. I'll be upset, yes, but it won't be the end of the world.
I'm telling you man.. how often does VZW have a nationwide 4G outage like this? Put 1 & 1 together...
4g back up in Virginia so maybe they got it fix and the 9th can still happen.

Is it possible that they test the network to see how it handles expected load before a launch? That might explain the outages before releases.

Nice try, LOL. Problem with your conspiracy theory is not everyone was experiencing the outage. If engineers were ordered to kill 4G, you would not have seen people posting in here they didn't lose 4G service at all today. Smash up your tinfoil hat into the shape of a goose or a swan until you can come up with a more believable story. Thank you for playing.
