[ROM][ACS]SyndicateROM Frozen 1.2 (Updated 6/20)

Quick question for those who updated to ACS Syndicate 1.1.0(Takiya). Is anyone using LauncherPro Plus with it. I tried to restore my app and data and I'm getting FC issues like crazy. Any and all advice is much appreciated. Thanks!

Okay I now am on Syndicate, but none of my apps or contacts were restored. Any idea on how to get those?

I did two backups but have no idea how to access them. Clockwork did a backup when converting to EXT4 and I also did a titanium backup. Though with titanium I have no idea how to import those as the app didn't come over after flashing.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

Restoring apps from titanium now. Hopefully contacts will come over as well.

So i just flashed this rom (1.10 version). I now have the EC05 modem. But suppose this rom starts acting crazy on me for whatever reason. will i be able to go into CWM and restore my reliable eb13 stock back up while i am on the road? or do i need to install a stock EC05 rom and make a CWM backup of it to keep on my SD card for emergencies?

Well, I may have to eat my words on this ROM being totally stable for me. Today while I was out and about (out of state in fact) my phone within 20 min went from 50% battery to 9% just using google to look something up and sending a couple texts. I was literally watching the battery meter drop like 1% every like 30 seconds at one point. I was getting some weird graphics glitches happening too. It was really weird, almost like a hardware failure, but a reboot fixed it. I backed everything up but now I cant decide if i wanna go back to ACE or give bonsai a try lol.

sounds like your battery needs to be calibrated, when was the last time you did it? ideally you should be wiping battery stats and recalibrating every time you use a different kernel

I calibrated it two days ago. Thing is the battery was getting really hot,so something was draining it really hard, and while it was happening my screen kept glitching out, geting pink streaks across it, almost like it had been stuck at full 1.2ghz in my pocket for god knows how long and rocking my CPU. It was at 50%, I used it for five min and it was still at 50%, took it out of my pocket like 20 min later and it was a 20% and acting glitchy as hell, and within a couple minutes I literally watched the battery meter plummet while the phone started getting really warm until it hit 9% and I shut it off until I got home a few hours later. It's acting perfectly normal now.

EDIT: I see version 1.10 is out now, so I may try flashing that first before I move on to a different ROM altogether.

This is why I'm confused, that thread references having to be on EB13 with EXT4 before flashing. I'm on EC05 and simply want to install CWM 3 so I can flash Syndicate. Am I missing the boat here completely?

Nevermind, I'm fairly sure I have this down now. I found the CWM 3 installation and found directions on how to actually flash in CWM 3.0. Thanks!

holy crap, unfortunately without a logcat im not sure what may have caused this. i do know our kernel devs have been trying to patch things up and get everything working in ec05.

sorry for the problems you have had, we know there is no perfect rom {altho we try } but we hope that we can fix any issues for future use

It seems the PRL update hasn't been fixed. The manual way to update seems like alot of work.

one thing that im getting annoyed at is the screen rotation Lag, and its Huuuuge, i've tried the fix of downloading a Terminal Emulator and using the Yamaha code, but everytime i enter it, it tells me that the access is denied,
i came from EB13+flashing EC05Modem+ACS 1.1.0 Rom installation, help?

you might want to try wiping cache and dalvik cache in cwm and see if that may help

I'm running the standard edition of v1.1.0 and I haved mixed feelings on it. While it seems snappy in some areas other areas like browsing sometimes seem a bit choppy. I wonder if it has anything to do with the checkboarding removal.

I had problems with the browser too. It was choppy and sometimes the graphics would look weird. I also had the browser freeze my phone twice. I installed both standard and fully loaded. 3x wiped both times. I had to change roms after.

I just wiped 3x and reinstalled. Does seem better than the first go around but something still just doesn't seem quite right...

Gonna keep playing through the day and see what happens.

Otherwise the ROM is running very nice.

I've used the browser extensively since last night and have had zero issues so far. If I get any issues I'll post back.

Im using launcherPro Plus v 0.8.3. works great. no fcs (except on startup. stupid stuff like deskclock and somethin else fc. stuff i want to figure out how to uninstall anyways)

this rom is totally stable for me. i ported all my custom themeing over onto it (before install). runs great. the ONLY problem i've noticed is the battery icon doesnt display about 95%. it goes from "charging" to 95% instantly upon unplugging. aside from that, which really isnt a problem just a little bug, i've had no problems. super fast. battery life about the same as ACE with how much i use it (~1.8-1,9x according to Juicedefender), much faster than any rom i've used. (shutdown is so fast my animation doesnt have time to finish haha). overall very happy with it. will post screenshots on that forum after class

Hows the battery life on 1.1.0? I liked the ROM a lot, but I had to bail on it because the battery life was awful. I could literally watch my battery tick away, even with the screen brightness set at 0%.
