[ROM][ACS]SyndicateROM Frozen 1.2 (Updated 6/20)

Use SetCPU to set your max speed to 1.3ghz, or flash VisionKernel to go up to 1.4ghz.

But know in the process that "not all epics are created equally" so yours might not be stable at 1.3 :p
Mines pretty stable at 1.2 right now and this ROM is awesome!!! Great work guys :D

Edit: My setCPU only lets me pick 1200 max hmmm

Just flashed the bionix black theme. I thought it was going to be a little to simple for my tastes, but as it turns out I really like it! So far it's playing nicely with this rom.

Restore apps or install new?

I flashed with 3.0.0.6 and installed SFR 1.1.0. Install went smoothly, and before setting up my phone, it was incredibly fast. Nice job, fellas.

However, after I restored via MyBackup Pro all my applications (APK + DATA), I had a number of problems.

First, I figured out that the bookmarks widget from Launcher Pro Plus was causing automatic FC. This I fixed.

However, now the device is very slow. I am not sure if it is one particular app or the fact that I used My Backup Pro to restore everything.

I could uninstall one by one I suppose. But, generally would you advise reflashing and installing the apps one-by-one from the Market? Does that make more sense?

I've read that other people reflash and then reinstall one by one to find the devil :p

We have always recommended you restore Data only. Sometimes restoring both apps and data can cause unforeseen conflicts.. App updates, OS changes, strange things can happen.

Don't think I'll ever restore my Apps lol. Sometimes I download some never use them and forget about them so when I have to reflash it gives me a chance to ween out the unecessary lil guys :p

Thanks.

Interestingly (or perhaps not), I had SetCPU on 200 min 1200 max on demand. I changed this back to 200/1000 on demand. It seems to be running more smoothly now.

Any suggestions as to why overclocking in this setup would cause problems? Would installing a different kernel help with this? I'm willing to experiment a little bit (although every day I experiment with this thing means another day that I am unproductive with everything else. :)

Could very well be just the way your device handles OC (Over clocking). Some phones will run fine with OC and then others lag or become unresponsive and eventually lock up.

You could also try the Conservative setup too.

Still on 1.02, but decided I'd throw this tidbit of info out there. Over the last couple days I've been either sick with food poisoning, or busy with other stuff, so my phone actually got relegated to "normal" use instead of being played with constantly. With a couple hours of internet time, some listening to music, a couple phone calls, dozen or so texts, few minutes playing games, probably an hour or so total reading feeds off of Pulse, my phone is at 48 hours without being charged. It's been at the <5% "plug in charger now!" status for about the last 6 hours lol. No overclocking during this time helped a lot granted, but 48 hours of light/moderate use is pretty dang good in my book. If I had spent less time watching youtube vids on it when I had my laptop right here, I'll bet I could have gotten it to almost 2.5 days with this set-up.

Anyone else havin camera issues? When I take a photo it doesn't save.

I haven't had issues saving photographs.

I have noticed, however, that when shooting video I will occasionally get skips in the video. Maybe this is due to the saving issue.

Is it your MicroSD card?
