[ROM] Android Open Kang Project- Jelly Bean Style

Is anyone getting close to two hours of on screen time? In any ics build I was easily getting that and I am yet to get past 1:20 on screen time

I haven't been able to get 2 hours on JB yet. I'm using AOKP and Franco kernel. I've dropped my CPU max to 1,000 to see if that helps.

I'm running Franco m5. And I really don't want to drop the CPU. Jelly bean seems very laggy with no 1200. Even with this 1200 I'm still getting laggy performance. Really sucks

Try r246. What's your governor? Try interactive with the scheduler set to noop.

Isn't this very subjective? If you are just checking forums and twitter and stuff like that, you should get around 3 hours I would think. If you are killing time somewhere waiting and you're playing angry birds for an hour, you won't see anything over 2 hours IMO. I can only do around an hour screen on time and extrapolate from there since I'm always plugging in my phone.

Ok, I must be getting looney. Or maybe I've tried too many JB roms and can't remember which features are with which roms. There are two features I really like and I can't find them in AOKP. Maybe they were in CNA? Maybe they were in CM10? Maybe they're in AOKP and I just can't find them. They are:

1. Long pressing on the volume up to go to the next track in Pandora or Play Music. Long pressing on the volume down button to go to the previous track in Play Music.

2. The option to allow rotation in all directions including upside down. I find it often useful to have the phone turned 180 degrees when the headphones or power is plugged in.

I miss those two features a lot, where are they?

(1) Not in yet, AFAIK

(2) That's a launcher feature IIRC. Also maybe CM10?

Ok, I'm not looney then. Must be in CNA.

I know that Apex offers a 180 degree option, but I used it in other apps as well.

Looks like I'll be leaving AOKP. It's the little things that make an experience and like those two little things a lot.

I hear ya. I miss the music controls myself.

Those are all available in CM10. I highly recommend Euroskank if you go the CM10 route.

Skank has the track select on the volume buttons? or just the rotation?

BTW the 8/29 build is on andro, might have to flash.... again. lol

I've been downloading the nightlies on my phone because every time I download on my computer and copy the zip to my phone, the md5 doesn't match. Any ideas why?
