[ROM][CM9][ICS][4.0.4] Cyanogenmod 9, Android ICS 4.0.4

I used the dev-host link on the kernel forum.
Is there another place that a newer kernel is available?

The only way around these assert errors is if you delete the assert check in the zip

I can say that the Thrive update worked flawlessly!
Used the latest P500 download from June 13th and the kernel released today along with the baseband fix then reflashed GApps and it works amazingly (is that a word?)
But there is the minor issue with booting still where it boots to the LG logo, then brings up the charging animation. The only workaround so far: use the "reboot system" option in CWM

Other than that, it's amazing as always Arjen! Great work!

OK I have been playing this thing for hours on end lol I did find a few performance flaws but it may be pics since it uses more resources

Crunchy roll app is sketchy at best when you watch an episode the episodes freeze lag and jump where on gingerbread it worked flawless

There is also the newer boot bug but easily bypassed with cwr

Besides that all is gold

Arjen do you know of any way to boost video performance in apps like crunchy roll

Sent from my LG P505 ICS using Arjen's ICS kernel and p500 cm9

It's probably because the videos are HQ which we can't playback yet

Getting the same issue when shut down -> boot. With 613 ROM and 614 Kernel, a white battery icon is displayed after the LG logo and then it has a black screen (not blank, because the screen is still on). I'm assuming it means empty battery, but the phone was plugged in overnight.

Edit: blunman, I tried to power on after I get a black screen, and it does the same thing.

It works about 25% f the time and the other 75%, it does this
If you just boot into recovery and use the reboot system option it doesn't do that.
Or another alternative is to just leave your phone on overnight.

Problems I ran into.
1. Common black screen bug but tolerable
2. Flawed phone call streaming via Bluetooth
3. SD card randomly unmounts or is said to be damaged
4. After shutting down, phone doesn't boot

I switched back to stock and will be waiting patiently for another release

Using the 6/15 ROM and the 6/14 kernel gave me virtually no issues at all.
SD card and USB connection are both fixed along with the blackscreen bug

My SD card randomly unmount or is said to be damaged, How can I fix that?
I have CM9 0613 and arjen's kernel 0614 in my LG P505

0615 is working better. I still get the black screen after a cold boot, but workaround is to hold the power for a few seconds at the battery screen, basically doing a cold boot, then warm boot. Also touch screen is acting erratically when overclocking.

Great job Arjen. Youve accomplished a lot in such a short period. I'm not sure what you do for a living, but you could do this professionally. I used to work at one of the biggest Android devices odms and still have contacts there. Let me know if you're interested.
