[ROM][CM9][ICS][4.0.4] Cyanogenmod 9, Android ICS 4.0.4

Um, found another issue...
My Thrive is having weird battery issues. It drains about 10% an hour which is not good.
I don't know what's causing this, but I'm pretty sure it's the new kernel/ROM combination as I would get about 4% an hour using Gingerbread (CyanogenMod 7.2 for the P500)

I would really appreciate it if you looked into it!

Thanks!
Rashed

I think what happens is flashing roms likes to mess with the battery charge and how well it holds one. I think you probably need to wipe battery stats after the battery gets low then recharge it. Someone posted how to properly do it at one point

Thanks for the tip!
I know how to do it thankfully
Messed a bit with the CPU settings and the system settings and now its draining about 7.5% an hour. Better, but still not at my standard :)

Arjen thank you for the awesome work and kernel it was a pleasure. I have decided to part with my phoenix and buy a samsung galaxy s i897 captivate which will be here Wednesday. Mainly because of its a8 cortex hummingbird 1ghz cpu and near top of the line gpu. Wich should be able to handle most things i throw at it like netflix flash crackle games and more.

Lol i guess what im saying is you are an amazing dev and acomplished what many have tried but failed some muserably. Keep up the great work and i will continue to follow your work and buy you a beer every now and then to support your cause. :p

Try a tool like better battery stats to see what keeps draining the battery. Report it here also.
Tomorrow I will continue to work in the gingerbread kernel again, along with a cm7 build.

Is Bluetooth file transfer supposed to work on Arjen's ICS ROMS? I tried sending my friend a file and it didn't work, but I don't know whose phone was having the problem

Test it with someone who has stock or cm7, those roms should not have problems. Don't know if it works, never tried it :)

Other than battery drain i have absolutely no issues with the rom and kernel. I know native tehering doesn't work right now but will it work if i use barnacle or wifi tether from market? Has anyone here tested to see if it works with these apps?

Only few issues I had which was the SD card unmounting on its own which I think has been mentioned. I had the phone acting really laggy and slow when the battery reached around 30% which required me to pull battery out to restart it

Installed the latest release and I must say it's great to finally have a fully functional ICS rom. Here's a minor bug I found.

After a while (typically overnight) my phone loses its wifi connection. My network's status is listed as "disabled" and while tapping it offers the usual cancel/forget/connect options, tapping connect does nothing. Turning off/on wifi does not fix the problem, but rebooting the phone does. Also, my network uses WPA2 and I have a DHCP reservation set up so that my phone always uses the same local address. The issue did not occur with my previous rom.
Hope that helps.
