[ROM][GINGERBREAD] CyanogenMOD 7 Nightly Builds.

Nightly #96 is a good'un. Slick browser speeds and my signal has increased -10db. I know that's probably a radio function but just saying.

Edit: strange but this is the first time I've flashed a nightly without having to reflash my MIUI camera. Has this app been included or has it just been so long since I've flashed anything I've forgotten how to do it.

Nope MIUI has not been included. Perhaps that short term memory thing is starting to kick in ;)

Not likely. Been at the beach since last Monday....my memory fizzled into the ether leaving only a slight scent of ozone after the 379th "are we there yet" from the back seats.

I finally got brave and rooted my Dinc so where's the best place to read up on how to flash a rom? I've got the free version of ROM manager but do I need to get the paid version?

If you go the Mirror site in the OP of this thread on your phone, you can bookmark the mirror site and the nightlies will be there as soon as they are available. Then you can download directly to your phone through the browser.

No need for the paid version.

I forgot to mention in my response to your PM earlier. You do not have to flash every nightly. The latest #97 is the current latest and is stable. When you do re-flash a nightly do it in Clockwork, not ROM manager and just wipe cache and dalvik cache, not data. Then all you settings will stay intact.

Have fun!

OMG thanks for ALL of your help!! I am now rooted with #97 installed. Just as it was finished up our power went out. Thank goodness I was on my laptop so I didn't miss a beat. Also managed to figure out how to get google apps back. Phew!

So I have been using cn7 on my dinc for a while and I'm not on the nightlies but I am running the latest stable build which I believe is now 7.0.3. I have been getting mad fc's everywhere. Dolphin browser my email tweetdeck. And the stock broswer too. Anyone else having issues or know what's up? Thanks in advance.

I would go ahead and flash #98 - There are a ton of bug fixes since the last stable. Wipe cache and dalvik and you should be good to go.

CyanogenMod 7.0.3 on incredible

I've just installed the CyanogenMod 7.0.3 on the incredible, it's pretty cool. It looks like a whole new phone.

Welcome to the world of AOSP! Enjoy all the customization and speed. Feel free to flash one of the new nightlies which have quite a few bugfixes from 7.0.3.

I went from 7.0.3 stable to nightly 99, and now my wifi cycles every 30-45 seconds. I did turn off the "sleep" thing in advanced. Hoping I don't have to go back to 7.0.3...
